Holding the attitude that you are the prize will bring you better options; from experience. It’s very much a game of how valuable and in demand you believe yourself to be. But if I turn on the charm, project confidence and value, demonstrate that I can be funny, a bit cocky and sarcastic, I can pull high quality women with just a few approaches.

3.). I think if you are pessimistic and somewhat anti-social this might seem true. But for normal well adjusted guys, I've never encountered this in others or myself.

4.). Even in a relationship you should never stop gaming your girl, because that's how you create lasting attraction. That doesn't mean you can't commit to her. It does mean you should never put her on a pedestal and never sacrifice your true self just to please her in an unhealthy manner. Sounds to me like you weren't being the real you, and you lost your dream girl and now feel regret for being fake.

5.). The least true statement in your list. I'm over 40. In my late 30's I have seen far more interest from women of all ages. I'm not super rich, famous, nor do I throw my money around. But I'm confident, grounded, independent. Thats attractive.

7.). You have no confidence if this is what you believe. Do men generally pursue women? Yes. However, I choose the ones I want to be with. If they reciprocate, great. If they don't, great. There are plenty of average girls who never make a move and just "can't get laid". Why aren't they out there choosing their men to bang them? Flawed perspective.

On looks..

Yes, looks matter a lot in initial approach, but I've met countless girls who say 'I was attracted to that guy until he opened his mouth' ... they only get you so far... I've slept with over 50 girls and I can tell you that showing persistence, being an orbiter, and over time striking when the girl's situation changes and she is more receptive to advances definitely works.. when looks are not in your favour... yes you have to put in more effort.. but so what, you still get the girl in the end :)

Having social value is also very important.. and this can be developed... I'm surprised your list never mentioned this

You have an interesting post because it seems like you learned the same old school PUA stuff that I did.. but there is something missing.. perhaps you mastered external game but never excelled at internal frame... perhaps you didn't practice enough? .. Going to 4 different boot camps shows your persistence in wanting to learn this... but there is something not quite right here... sleeping with more and more girls should have slowly transformed your world view from one of scarcity to one of abundance .. demonstrating your oneitis shows that this didn't happen for some reason... Yes, i'm afraid looks are just as important for girls as they are for guys. Hell, with young girls, i'd got as far as to say they're even MORE important.

Luckily that doesn't mean you have to be a male model and never forget that not all girls have the same tastes. There's no magic PUA (negs, pushpull, teasing, self amusement, confidence etc) that can force attraction in a girl. Sexual attraction. It's basically decided the second she lays eyes on you. Even many of the females who post here have admitted that. For some reason PUA coaches think they know more about what women like than women lol. Of course they'll give you reasons why they think that, but the true reason is that they need you to think it so that they can sell you their shit! lol

I almost disagree with everything.

Looks are def very important they are your business card, your entry and yes good looking guys can get results with no game at all and a bad looking guy can have some game and still get no results. That being said your estimate of 95% is very very far off imo. Lets not forget women are totally feelings based and less attractive guys usually also have less confidence therefore they get less results, but not because they are less attractive, most women seem to have an attitude like the confidence and how he makes her feel are no1 and he needs to be at least decent looking. So when you are confident, have a nice looking body and dress well the sky is the limit even when you are not facially good looking.

Men do reach their prime in their 40's or later, your value will be 10x what it was when you were 20 in all ways, you'll have a carrier, you will have 10 times more skills and you will have 10 times more confidence, you will know who you are more and have more shit figured out and be much more fun to be around with. I am not in my 40's but When I have 20 something year olds as competition it's just laughable and I am fucking the girl that all these younger dudes are chasing. It seems like you are still just basing this off of looks.

Your mentality does seem fucked, I did a bootcamp and I learned and experienced so much it seems like you weren't there to learn anything or understand the way of teaching, but you wanted the magic pill and just the results. Woman are the prize if you are 21 and you have nothing going on for you and you have no confidence and don't value yourself. If you get in your 30's, 40's and you establish a life and skills you are the prize to women and that whole dynamic that young guys that are scarce for sex have changes.

This is a very refreshing perspective to hear. I'm similar to you - in my early thirties and started pickup around 2008/2009, have had decent successes here and there. Don't even get me started with the bootcamps/'workshops' - I almost wish I never met some of those guys from the bootcamps as I found them to be very fake and would literally betray everything they stood for just to get a girl. It was weird - it was like being trained to be a robot - it was always sold as getting a girl was an easy cut and dry formula (say and do x and get y).

I would also say race plays a bigger role then I originally thought - not a bad thing (everyone has their bias) - but something I just refused to acknowledge in the beginning. I know this from both real life and online dating.

Either way just wanted to say I can relate - sucks about the girl but I'm sure you'll find something with your renewed perspective.

I think 95% is quite the exaggeration - I have a male model friend who pulls girls on Tinder all the time but the amount of girls he's managed to keep around for more than a few months? Zero. He's just intrinsically abrasive.

I also have another friend, really good looking, but has a serious narcissism complex and coasts on a lot of dates with his good looks. He's had a few long term relationships but his tendency to abuse and self sabotage burns bridges like you wouldn't believe.

If you've followed old school pickup you should already know that looks are - yes - very important but they add to the scale of attraction. Rapport, which I'd argue is a more important skill is something you have to learn. To be a good PUA you'd need to master the holy trinity - looks, inner game and relationship expertise.

I'd also argue that unless you were born with some serious facial defects or misshapen body parts - that most guys have an upper limit of 7-8 in terms of looks after a strict skincare, bodybuilding and grooming routine. Preferences will come in all shapes and sizes and the only difficult line to cross would probably be height.

If a girl is laughing more and connecting deeply with me and I'm working the room 9/10 times I end up bringing that girl home instead of my other good looking friends (though I usually wingman them heavily if they're into someone) because emotionally that girl is a lot more into me at that time. I've had moments where a girl I liked couldn't bring herself to commit due to my looks but it's fine because at the end of the day it boils down to preference and I've managed to score some amazing women who were perfectly fine with the way I looked and how tall I was.

Being a good partner was also a lot more important to them as I've had many exes call me up asking for another chance because their tall alpha boyfriends weren't fitting the bill the way I was.

I agree with a lot of your post but I feel you're leaving out a lot of things guys can work towards and also discouraging PUA newbies from trying at all, which shouldn't be the case.

Some comments:

As you said women choose men for sex. Totally agree.

Looks and presentation are critical for initial attraction in women. I think women do want an attractive face, however many are not as picky in exactly what this means. I have a nice body and attractive walk, and I think I have above average looks, but what I have found is women when they see me walking IRL don't look at my face first. First they look at my chest to waist ratio (the V look), then they look at leg length to height ratio (this includes looking at your butt), and then my face. It is a repeating pattern when women see me IRL who I have not met.

Being able to read women and flirt at a distance I call high level empathy skills. You have to be emotionally mature (high level of emotional intelligence) to possess these skills. They are relatively rare in men.

I came in prepared to bash you because i thought you would say nothing about looks.

Throughout my life I had a lot of good looking friends, which had a very easy time with women and it was efortless. I could not replicate even a fraction of their success no matter how much effort or how how many differnt tactics i tried.

But still I disagree with you a bit, Face is the most important, but body is also very important(especially body fat,it can make your face look much leaner and better if its low), and if your style is bad it can weigh you down a lot. Height can be a good bonus, but a good face will always trump a good height. I'm 6 feet and i'm regularly outmatched by guys that are even 5'9.

With that being said now i'm focused on maximizing my looks.

On bootcamps, I saw severely introverted people with no social skills getting FAR better results than very charismatic, extroverted dudes who were unattractive. Girls were just ultra receptive to the very good looking dudes.

I experienced this as well. I (32M) took a bootcamp and matched me with another dude (23M) so we approached either together or in alternating order. The other dude was younger, cleaner face and a bit taller than me. We were both fairly charismatic, he had less humor than me but he looked a bit aloof and seemed more relaxed. I was more charismatic, more humorous, talked more witty (could come up with things to say or comment or simply do humor more easily). However, from the 50 sets we approached during the 2-day bootcamp, he got 3 numbers (2 flaked) and I struggled to get even 1 (flaked). Moreover, (to my -biased- perception) he got more favorable interactions (even the ones that didn't turn into numbers). Girls laughed more with him, were more open in terms of body language, etc.

However, I want to add something else here: The looks do matter in statics of course, but they also matter on the type of girls you attract. A very young and aloof-looking guy will trigger younger and fun-looking girls. More serious girls looking for more mature guys will be more receptive to older guys. For example, my partner did horribly with older women (many reacted even aggressively), but I did way better than him. Also, in terms of serious collage girls (like law or medicine), I did as well as he did. Of course, statistically, this might not hold (the taller, prettier guy will again hook MORE older girls in absolute numbers than a short ugly one), but it still shows that the shape of the curve does change. Keep that in mind when approaching and what kind of girls you want to attract and what you end up attracting.

PUA has this weird “burn it to the ground” mentality but all I witnessed was mega cringe moments with guys staying in a set when it was clearly not welcome.

We got that "instructions" as well, but I disagree. It is not a matter of hooking the set, but rather to condition your brain to respond to cringe moments. It is about training, not results. It is about intentionally creating unfavorable circumstances so that you condition better and know how to handle cases with a more receptive girl show some sort of random resistance. It's an exercise for building confidence and experience. After, like 50 approaches, the handling of cringe moments for me and my partner improved considerably! Confidence is very important when approaching, so imagine all things go well and a girl throwing you a random resistance (maybe a shit-test). If you've bailed the last 10 times you encountered that resistance, you will short-circuit (and maybe bail) now as well.

IMO, it's difficult to MAKE you a weirdo. All people I know who gamed like weirdos were weirdos to begin with. Some weirdos learning game did straighten up though.

Anyway, enough about me. This post isn’t meant to be bitter. The point is, if you meet a girl whom it feels right with, just commit to her and don’t be an idiot; you won’t regret it

I agree. Game doesn't teach you to be some laid-back asshole. relationships need effort. However, game teaches you 1) how to have abundance, so you don't get pushed around by abusive partners (way more common than you think) and 2) How female mind/reality works and how to escalate properly within a relationship and avoid getting too attached too soon (which can also ruin things)

Don’t buy boot camps

Some are scam, some are worth it. Contrary to you, I don't regret the money I spent on the seminar+bootcamp. Research before you invest. Look for the most professional-looking and not be ones with "better results" or "powerful mentality" or "charismatic advertisements". I've subscribed to YT and IG channels of 2 local groups for more than 2 years before actually choosing one of them. I also talked and asked for a quote with both before making a decision. Even if they both looked like they put effort on their work at first glance, after going over and having a chat with them, one clearly turned out to be far more worth the money and far more professional in how he dealt with clients. In any case, keep in mind that at the end of the day, they are there to make money and you are there to learn stuff.

Bro thank you. I always say tell people that looks is legit the biggest factor. Its what tell the girl if she should give you a chance or a reason why she should fancy you over someone else. But so many people I talk to say its not true but I know people on both sides (im like the middle) and its crazy how true it is. It doesnt make me happy to say it but its just the case. While there are a few exceptions cause “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” ultimately the standard of beauty is pretty set in general snd people have a general idea of what it is. I only know 1 super attractive out of my league girl who genuinely liked me (still does but its complicated) but thats cause she legit was around me all the time cause shes my sisters best friend. When someone kind of doesnt have a choice but to be around you, then personality starts to play its part and thats mostly when some “unluckier people” in the loons world can shine better. But yea bro im glad you said it cause i always say that a persons face is whats most important. Personally I want to get plastic surgery on my jaw to make it look defined/stronger (I have a young looking face) and I think it is hand in hand with symmetry as well as proportion in things that are most important in having looks.

This is completely true! I have a friend who is really good-looking. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, really good jawline, and has even done some modelling. Whenever we go out, girls always approach him. He doesn't know anything about game, and his conversation skills aren't that great, but he picks up like crazy.

Once I was talking to a female friend of mine about him, and her exact words to me were "I don't need to have a conversation with him, I just like to look at him." Looks beat game any day of the week. Conversation skills can help, but are not a replacement for being good-looking.

If you become close friends with girls and listen to them, they talk a lot about looks, how they met a handsome guy, or how they watch a tv show because one of the actors is handsome. I've had girls I'm close friends with ask me to introduce them to my good-looking friends. I don't mind doing this bc I'm just friends with these girls. But it taught me looks are important.

PUA lie and say looks don't count because they can trick more men into buying their products. On top of that, a lot of guys who buy PUA products don't have any close female friends or experience with girls. So rather than forming beliefs based on real life experience, they listen to what people online tell them, and believe the wrong things.

If you truly practiced game for a long time like you say to the point of mastering some social skills you would know that looks definitely aren't 95% of game. It sure helps, but not that much. It's funny you say this. I'm going through something right now where I found some photos of em a year ago and how it's brought up my issues about my looks etc

I've also have been a good dude and very nice guy.

I have some female friends tho, only and I have never once gotten a compliment unless it was about how I dressed or weight loss. Never anything about let's set you up with someone I know etc.

Also overhead things where it's probably oh he's sweet but he isn't cute. Or worse I am 'ew'. One time felt like a butt-his-face comment. Which seemed like a backdoor that even if you lose weight you'll still be ugly or a creep.

Finally, someone says it LOOKS DO MATTER. Now sure if you're a fucking weirdo it would still ruin it, but still, they do matter.

Now in this regard I'm both blessed and cursed, not to sound arrogant but I'm good looking (way way above average judging by my personal experiences, even other men turn their heads) face wise and body wise, however, I'm short (5ft6/5ft7 on a good day) but up to this point the only person it mattered to was me, I've even been with taller girls and never sensed or heard anything regarding my height so I guess you're right, face is the most important.
