Your first fuck up was walking up to a women’s car as she was getting into it to hit on her.
[–]TheSunshineMan 111 points112 points113 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
Second fuck up was asking a girl who you think is 18-21 if she wants to get drinks.
[–]BigZmultiverse 55 points56 points57 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Was it? I don’t think OP said his age
[–]Githzerai1984 74 points75 points76 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link
Or country
[+]BigZmultiverse -21 points-20 points-19 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Well yeah, but as someone uninvolved, I care less about the legality of a potential 18 year old reasonably being attracted to a 16 year old, and more about if this was a skeezy 30 year old guy approaching someone that he thought was 18.
[–]Schroef 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I don’t know why you’re getting the downvotes, it sounds like a legit point
[–]BigZmultiverse 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Right? Bizarre. I’m just saying that the age determines how sketchy it was or wasn’t. I’m not making assumptions lol
[–]grahamcrackers37 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
In many countries, people can drink alcohol at 16.
You got downvoted for assuming the worst in a basically benign situation, albeit embarrassing for OP.
[–]BigZmultiverse 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
How did I assume the worst?
I said he didn’t say his age, and I care IF he is 30. I never said I thought he was. I said he could be potentially 18 as well. And I don’t see how the drinking age is relevant, as I said it would be reasonable for someone at age 18 to be attracted to a 16 year old. So please enlighten me as to the negative nature of my comment
[–]grahamcrackers37 -3 points-2 points-1 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
This person could very well be 18-20, and is referring to himself hitting on a person who he thought was his age. That was my assumption anyways .
The vibe of the post indicated he already knew he fucked up. Even if he was 30, the dude backed off as soon as he realized he was fucking it up. Anyone "creepy" would never even make this post. You just came in here and started pointing fingers and calling out some worst case scenario that wasn't relevant.
This is a sub for people to learn hard lessons - courting and rejection. It's a sensitive topic. Almost like a "safe space" to ask tricky questions about approaching potential romantic partners. OP was "confessing" and opening up his awkward situation as a launch pad for discussion. You were insensitive and changed the mood unnecessarily.
This is my take on why you were downvoted.
[–]BigZmultiverse 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
That was my assumption anyways That was my assumption
That was my assumption anyways
That was my assumption
Okay, so just because I’m not assuming the best lime you are, that means I’m assuming the worst? I’m simply just saying he could be 18 or 30 by the information given. Is that really so bad?
Even if he was 30, the dude backed off as soon as he realized he was fucking it up
Not exactly. He backed up when he found out he was 16. As far as I know, he could have been a 30 year old who thought it was okay to hit on an 18 year old. Or he could be 18 himself too. I’m just simply stating that I care more about his age than what his local laws are.
Anyone “creepy” would never even make this post
I don’t agree with that
You just came in here and started pointing figures
I said a THEORETICAL. I didn’t say he’s a sketchy 30 year old. I said ”IF” he is 30, that’s kinda sketchy. It that really so unreasonable? I said he could also be 18 and reasonable attracted to someone who is 16. But you chose to seek out negativity when I’m simply stating two possibilities on the opposite ends of the spectrum of the details given.
You were insensitive and changed the mood
Then OP should say his freaking age because that’s extremely relevant when discussing talking to a girl in a situation where her age is a factor. It’s not my job to assume OPs age for him. Saying 18 is fine but 16 is too young makes me wonder where OP draws the line. I was just stating possibilities based on vague information, calm your titties.
[–]grahamcrackers37 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No me baby! I'm trying to frame for you why the reddit hivemind took you down.
[–]Fluffy_Risk9955 -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Why is it that reality is always downvoted?
It’s not “reality”, I’m just speculating different possibilities. Dunno why that earned me some downvotes lol
[–]igromanru 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It depends where you live, in EU you can legally drink anything at 18.
[–]Fusionpro101 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Haha could be coffee bro! But for a first date I think being sober is the best way.
[–]double_prong -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (50 children) | Copy Link
I don't see it that way. Could you explain why you think that's a bad time to talk?
[–]BigZmultiverse 110 points111 points112 points 5 years ago (43 children) | Copy Link
A couple reasons. One is that it’s not a time that a woman is most comfortable. A LOT of assault and abductions happen when people are getting into their car, and women are usually aware of this fact. As a man, I’m already a little sketched out if a guy approaches me while I’m getting in my car.
And the other reason is that she was about to be on her way. The interaction is less organic and casual, as she’s trying to drive away to wherever she has to be, and you are stalling her so she can talk to you.
There’s probably another reason I’m not thinking of, but that’s it in my mind.
[–]Frosting-Curious 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Funny you say that. Some college student in my city was almost kidnapped in a similar situation. Apparently she forgot her phone in a coffee shop & was then approached by men in a car & offered her the phone. She walked up to the car to grab it & some men jumped out to grab her. Didn't say how she got away, but there was an alert put out for a white van.
[–]KrAzyDrummer 9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Female coworker was literally robbed and assaulted while she was getting into her car after shopping at a target. While her hands were full of shit trying to get into the car they came up, stole her shit, threw her to the ground, broke her finger while snatching her phone out of her hand, and ran off.
So yeah, don't be creeping up on people getting into their cars.
[+]Fusionpro101 -33 points-32 points-31 points 5 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link
Nah bruh don’t listen to this 😂. If you are a nice presentable man you have no problem, people over think this way to much my gosh. If she has given you clear signs to approach her then do it. That’s why I urge guys to be well groomed and well dressed then you won’t have any problem, she will see you as good guy not some hoodlum.
[–]BigZmultiverse 23 points24 points25 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Okay but clearly she HADN’T given clear signs of interest in OPs story.
And even if she had, it would be better to approach her before she was getting into her car. If he’s well-groomed, presentable, and non-threatening, approaching her at her car would still be doing it with less cards in his favor. Well-groomed or not, time and place is a factor.
[–]xmayelle 33 points34 points35 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
This is a seduction sub and these people are not listening. There’s nothing seductive about hitting on a worker who’s paid to be nice to you by following them to their car, their private and personal space. They’re just trying to go home. Y’all need boundaries
[–]BigZmultiverse 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Exmerus 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[+]TheSunshineMan -15 points-14 points-13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's better to go for it than not.. but the odds would be a lot higher if he did the interaction when they first met/talked while inside.
[–]xmayelle 10 points11 points12 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Y’all are dense
[–]xmayelle 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
It’s never ok to follow someone to their car and it was a worker and a child. You should never hit on either
[+]Fusionpro101 -16 points-15 points-14 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
I would agree the situation was a bit of a mess, but I mean living the regret of never talking to her is something else.
[–]xmayelle 14 points15 points16 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Nah..making a child extremely comfortable and now scared to walk to their car and go to work bc someone they’re nice to takes it too far vs a grown adult man acting on a thought. He could control himself and be ok. Like really ???? You don’t see which situation would’ve been better? He should’ve minded his business because it was a worker paid to give him good customer service and that interaction would’ve never happened any other way. Y’all need to listen when people with experience of this happening to them is telling you that it’s not okay. If you truly wanna seduce someone anyways, listening is important
[+]Fusionpro101 -11 points-10 points-9 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Re read the story….. muda up there thought she was the between the age of 18-21 meaning he didn’t know this person was a kid. And if you see her friend reacted with a laugh, what does laughing equal my friend…. Joy or in this cause just funny. It’s a embarrassing situation for him tbh. But no harm was done. Now stop reading deep into this god dam.
[–]BigZmultiverse 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Sometimes people laugh out of discomfort and nervousness. Can’t say weather or not that’s what was happening here, but just pointing this possibility out
[–]Fusionpro101 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I see that you got a point we don’t know how she was feeling over text!
[–]xmayelle 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You are definitely not seducing anyone lmao. Laughter is not a sign of joy. It can be anger, anxiety, lots of things. You obviously can’t read a situation and I’m sure you were never a young girl by your replies. You should probably listen to the majority of all of us that have already come out for decades now saying this type of flirting is absolutely not okay.
[–]Fusionpro101 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I guess I don’t usually seduce a women the first time I met her i usually like to get to know them first. But that’s your opinion. And it’s very simple if you read the vibe of the person, and can be 100% wrong of course because I wasn’t there, I can’t tell the vibe she had.
[–]xmayelle 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I understand but the fact that she was a worker is the reason #1 why it was unacceptable. So he should’ve never been in a situation as an adult male following a child to their car..
Why does that matter, what if you hit on the bartender in the bar and she likes you different story huh. And again he didn’t know she was a kid especially with the mask on these days. But height could be a dead give away but we don’t know the details.
[–]TheSunshineMan 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Disagree.. the best time would have been when she was in the shop.. the longer you wait, the more your odds go down on keeping interest and getting the number etc.
[–]Fusionpro101 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I would agree he did wait to long that I can understand. But the fact he did it then never at all is what I’m pointing at.

[permanently deleted]
[–]BigZmultiverse 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, he loses nothing IF IT WAS HIS ONLY OPTION, but it sounded like he waited around a while before this approach.
OP chose to approach in a “not ideal” scenario, as you put it, when he had an alternative, so it’s a fuck up. I wouldn’t call it that if the alternative was not approaching her at all.
[–][deleted] 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
[–]BigZmultiverse 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Well then you agree with me, because OP waited a while to approach her just as she was leaving. From what you said, it sounds like we both think he should have done it sooner.
[–][deleted] 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
[–]BigZmultiverse 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Okay, yeah. Once the time had elapsed and she was leaving, it wasn’t really a fuck up. I’m just saying that waiting that long in the first place was a fuck up. But yeah, we are more or less on the same page then
[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
Are you saying asking her out in front of her boss would've been more ideal? She was stuck at the register not walking around the restaurant. Thank fuck I didn't ask her out inside with customers around.
Are you honestly telling me that her boss was right next to her for the entire “couple hours” you were there? I’ve worked in a couple coffee shops, and I find it hard to believe she didn’t have a moment away from her boss.
[–]kpoint8033 -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
It's all in how you do it imo. If you're smooth about it then it's okay. He might never see that girl again so it's best to take a chance.
[–]BigZmultiverse 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
But he could have talked to her before it came to that point...
[–]kpoint8033 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
He should have yeah, but he fucked up. We all do but at least he tried. I'd always encourage having courage, because rejections like this are brutal to take and can ruin your confidence. Honestly it's hard to judge the situation without seeing it first hand or with both perspectives so I think it's harsh to judge the man.
He should have yeah, but he fucked up
I was initially just answering a question as to why it’s a bad time. It seems like you agree with me then...
[–]kpoint8033 -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
He should have but I don't blame him for trying after choking the first time. It's a hard pill to swallow when you miss your chance. And like I say, it's hard to judge how it went without being there.
Someone asked why it was a bad time to talk to someone. I was simply answering. You can defend OP for hesitating, but I am simply answering a practical question

Every single time someone has run up on me opening my car door it's with criminal intent, and I'm an decently sized guy with resting bitch face. It's even worse for women. The only worse place I could think of would be following her into the bathroom.

Only once at night, the rest were in busy shopping mall parking lots. It's pretty common depending on where you live in the US. So many serial killers go after women in parking lots that its a setting used in self-defense product commercials.

Yeah what planet is that guy living on? A lot of teenagers have part time jobs and drive at 16. Some many people here seem to believe that when they don’t get the answer they want that the girl is lying to them.
[–]Tansen378 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
I have lived in three continents. You need to get out of your hole. Get yourself educated - the most common minimum driving age in the world is 18 years. Just because it’s 16 years in your state does not mean it’s so everywhere.

Bro… you can drive at 16 in every US state except New Jersey and in some you can get a learners permit at 14. People were talking about them being in the US because 16 year olds in the magic countries you’re living in don’t work part time jobs. Calm down it’s not that serious

You didn’t do anything wrong, you asked out someone who was open, there is nothing wrong with talking to people in a car, and when she revealed her real age you immediately withdrew from the interaction.
You couldn’t have handled it any better imo
[–]milktasteslikegood 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
As a woman, if a man came up and talked to me while I was in my car to be honest I would probably feel creeped out immediately. Lots of men wait to talk to women and follow them to their cars which is a generally not safe situation for us. He did handle it well but I would still advise against going up to women in cars unless you know them a little better. Some people might feel it fine but I know many who would probably not be okay with that. Better to stay on the safer side and avoid it if you can!

Age is one of my big hang-ups about doing daygame. I've definitely accidentally hit on girls that age, and I hate it. My age radar is just way off. Really the only way to avoid it, is just game at college campuses, where it's reasonable to assume the girls are all 18+.

Age of consent is 16 here and we don't have any age gap laws, so you could be 100 and it's still all good!
I assume you're in the US?
Either way, don't feel bad lol. It's hard nowadays! So many girls who are around 15-16 look and act exactly the same as 19-21 year olds here! The makeup and the way they dress and just the general culture nowadays makes the line very hard to see!

Just stick to 18 year olds and up. Going below that is definitely entering pedo grounds, especially if you're several years older than the other person. There's just no reason to seek out people below that age for any reason at all.

Nah bro, even in Europe where age of consent is 16 a late 20's guy trynna hookup with a 16 yo is fucking weird and retarded.
Even if 16 yo's are dressing up the same as 21 yo's most of them are still childish, insecure and don't know what they want in their lives. Stop normalizing this disgusting behaviour.
Ofcourse all the fucking losers who cannot find women their own age and are actively and manipulating barely legal teens are downvoting. My point is if you're 18-20 then fine it's fine to date a 16 year old as long as she is mature and you are too, However if you're 25+ and you're actively searching for 16-17 yo's then you're a fucking loser lmao.

Please don't follow workers to their car, I've managed a coffee shop and had to record these incidents as problem behavior to establish history before getting police involved.
There's a right way and wrong way to approach someone and I definitely think following a worker to their car is the wrong way.
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I can 99% guarantee that wasn't a worker just "being nice". I've been an ugly dude in the past. Trust me I know the difference. The interactions between nice and flirty are very different. As someone who has gotten their looks and shit together I can tell you that the looks I get now are completely different from what I used to get.
There's nothing "friendly" about holding eye contact that long especially after I decided not to leave them a tip.
You're right I shouldn't follow anyone to their car, but as I mentioned they were standing outside talking which is when I decided to go outside. By the time I got out there they were in their car (which was about 10 feet from where I was sitting). It wasn't an isolated parking lot and there was plenty of people around.
To your point about license plates. I don't need to follow anyone to get that information. It's literally on the front of a car.
[–]AntiqueUnit 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Read your original post too
You think you are a mind reader. I'm telling you that you are not.
I think you're confusing "mind reader" with intuition. Just for clariry. I was 100% sure she was eye fucking me. I don't need intuition to see somebody's eyes.
Once again, please tell me the non verbal cues you look for when determining if someone is interested in you. I'm waiting.

You can see literal actions you just gotta observe. You can't always see intent.
You are mixing action with intent. How do you know you weren't eye fucking her at the getgo and she was on the defensive making sure you weren't gonna go something to her? How do you know she wasn't nervous laughing? How do you know she wasn't just stepping her customer service game? Ever heard of killing them with kindness? Plus at 16 she might not have the experience to be flirting. Kids gawk at shit all the time.
I totally believe you can see action but I don't believe you can gleam intent from the universe. Occam's razor says the simplest explanation should be the one weighted the most. It's simpler to say this girl is at work doing the customer service bit and moving on rather than she was totally into you. Sometimes a look is just a look, and with the customer service role as a factor, it tips the scale further in look is just a look.
I ain't saying you shouldn't shoot your shot but don't make someone's work place more awkward. I'm suggesting you should scale back some of that confidence when it comes to customer service interactions.

Fuck the haters. Hitting on minors can happen and is not your fault. And the stuff with the car: take it as a learning experience. It is good you approached at all. Best of luck with your next approaches.
[–]dobbs1997 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Alright people it’s really not that deep, yes she was getting into a car when he approached her but who gives a fuck, I’m sure he approached in a calibrated way and didn’t go directly up to her, all he did was exchange a few words with a woman getting in a car, it’s not like he had bad intentions & was gonna rob her or something along those lines…it’s really not a creepy action, it’s only creepy if his actions and words were creepy. None of you know the perspective of this girl he spoke to, for all you know she was flattered. You guys throw this word “creepy” around like it’s frisbee, talking how it’s not a good time do this or that, well how do you know that? lmao, everybody sees things differently. You gotta respect OP for shooting his shot and not letting the moment pass by & feeling regret afterwards..Sheesh 😂

Hey, at least you she admitted her age and you got out of there. My best friend picked up a woman at a bar when we were in our late 20s. They started dating and were sleeping together pretty quickly. That was until her dad showed up at his apartment with a baseball bat. She was 16. They got to talking and it turned out the daughter had been using a fake ID to get in to bars. Dad was pretty understanding given the circumstances and said he'd deal with his daughter at home. At least my buddy didn't go to jail. :D

Your cool, dude. Ignore the haters. You did nothing absolute.
I'm right passed 29 and accidentally approached "younger" women all the time and they usually don't notice I'm older. Its not just about approaching. Its about HOW you approach that determine you. She was potentially flirtatious towards you first anyway, of course you would take it as inviting. This is what's attractive between a male and female. We're fated like this. Its being positive.
What's fascinating, I'm a low key short dude, but I take care my self and hits the gym. I've approached older women and girls that were 17 and below and they really didn't mind because of how I approached. Some older woman even claimed they were straight too old for me and the younger girls didn't even feel put off by me. I turned my self down for them tho.
I see younger girls all the time that look incredibly right pass puberty with sexy bodies that makes it difficult to fathom.
Keep being a dude.
Dream massive.👍

[–]double_prong -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
First off, you should know the age of consent in your locale. 16 is legal in most places that aren't fucking backward. Second, don't be embarrassed. There's literally no reason to be embarrassed. 16 year old women are physically adult, and it's hard to tell them apart from 18 year olds. They won't be mentally adult until 25, 18 isn't some magic number. And, if it's legal and you're down with it, you can even date them.

i think the other difference is 'age gap laws' that the US has? Here for example we don't have them. 16 is age of consent. I can be 120 and still bang 16 year olds lol

Oh my god. You probably made her so fucking uncomfortable. That’s happened to me before. But you followed this child to their car?? Why would you follow a girl to her car? Of any age that’s unacceptable. You messed up big time with that and you obviously shouldn’t be hitting on workers who are made by their bosses to smile and laugh and please you for $9/hr. What is wrong with you
[–]ddrj 18 points19 points20 points 5 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link
Jesus Christ. He already said he's embarrassed as hell, learned from his mistake and didn't know. Why are you shaming and gaslighting him even further?
[+]xmayelle -16 points-15 points-14 points 5 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link
I truly hope he learns from every mistake he made and never does it again. But it’s gonna take more reflection, not just being embarrassed. I’m not gonna make the situation seem less than it is for an adult. Especially when the impact it could’ve had on the girl was not worth it. I would say the same if the genders were reversed, even if they’re the same age. Just don’t do any of these things and it’ll keep you from more than just being embarrassed. You’ll be more successful at seducing and whatever your end goal is
[–]ddrj 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
If you were in his situation, what would you have done differently? Especially if you didn't know that she was 16?
[+]xmayelle -10 points-9 points-8 points 5 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link
I would’ve never thought that a person hired to give me good customer service would’ve wanted me to hit on them, ask them to another location, follow them to their car. I would just be like ‘they seem cool, looked nice’ and gone about my day.
Say for some reason I did truly feel an attraction to a worker, I’d just keep it to myself. Maybe I’d hope they’d go out of their way for me. Then idk what I’d do but nothing would probably happen and that’s what would be best lol. We’re strangers and they are working.
[–]Paranoidexboyfriend 11 points12 points13 points 5 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, as a woman you have that privilege of being able to judge everything as creepy or not, and just choosing to let everyone come to you if they're interested. If men acted like women in that regard, no one would ever approach anyone and the species would've died out ages ago.
That's the thing about being a man. We don't have the privilege of just waiting around for people to come to us. We have to take risks without knowing if rejection is coming or if someone will label you creepy for no reason at all.
[–]Stone-Cold-Advice 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Completely agree. Women have no idea what dudes go through just to talk to women. It's sooo easy to sit there and just judge a guy when they have no idea how hard it is just to build up the nerve to approach, let alone actually approach.

For being the sex that does all the work in approaching. You’re welcome.
You have a very Orwellian look on social interactions.
Conform citizens, don’t step out of your pre determined boxes, do not attempt to think for yourself, do not attempt to show feelings or express interest in others. Comsume, buy, purchase, order, say please and thank you then go about your business, all communication should be only for survival with nothing human required of you.

I totally support your defense here - so many people automatically judge someone to be a creep and call you such based on a small snipped of your life that you willingly shared with us!
Reading through your post doesn’t make you seem to be a creep. And really, no harm here. You got a cool embarrassing story, but you know what will happen if you go out to a girl and ask her out. Good for you for trying. I often think about trying to find some ways to ask a girl out like that and rarely follow through - though I didn’t once a few months ago. I went on a good first date and met up w the guys after. Saw two cute girls and asked if I could leave them with my number. They were nice and turned me down but was still glad I did if!
[–]AssociateEast7175 -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

[–]JetPillar 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link
Y’all live in a very sad world where you believe everyone is lying to you because it’s impossible that someone could be 16 or a girl would have a bf or that no actually means no. You play so many games that you see nothing else in anyone else
[+]AssociateEast7175 -6 points-5 points-4 points 5 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
No. That's because it's seemed crystal clear she lied. Why would her friend laugh? Perhaps because she was lying.
You're crying over games, but you haven't realized she played games with OP. She flirted with a person she had no interest whatsoever. Am I the one who likes playing games???
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Are you seriously asking why her friend would laugh? It would've been more weird if she sat there in silence. Stop thinking women are lying about every situation. Is it that hard for you to think she was telling the truth?
[–]JetPillar 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link
Or she laughed because you looked shocked when the girl said she was 16? Or she laughed because she was nervous? Or she laughed because it was the fourth time today she got hit on? Or that had a running bet that he was going to hit on her? There are a million possible reasons that she could’ve laughed and y’all just want to believe she lied because y’all are so cynical
It’s sad honestly. You guys are so trapped in the mind games you can’t see your way out. It would absolutely collapse your Lego built world to realize you can’t judge every interaction, read every response, play every human being like a video game. This right here is why women aren’t friendly to strange men. So many of them take it the wrong way and then bitch about being led on. I hope you get help
[–]AssociateEast7175 -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link
Why would she wave to a stranger in whom she's not interested? Literally every man on Earth would think she'd been into him.
[–]JetPillar 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
Um because she’s at her JOB and being friendly to customers is her JOB. Read the post again. She motioned for him to come over and ORDER. I’m not sure what planet you’re on, but here on earth that isn’t woman speak for “let’s fuck” Her JOB is to be friendly and give good customer service. If every man on earth thinks like you y’all need a serious reality check. I’ll say it again, a woman being friendly doesn’t inherently mean she wants to screw you. Unlike men, we can be nice to people we don’t want to sleep with. Crazy I know
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
She waived for me to order but I was the only person she waived to when she left. There was about 15 other customers inside. She was off her shift and not obligated to speak with anyone.
[–]JetPillar 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
My bad. I mixed your waves up. Maybe she waved at you because you made conversation with her. Who knows. Maybe she caught you staring because you noticed she didn’t wave to anyone else. Again, being friendly doesn’t inherently imply sexy time
I personally wouldn’t have a problem if you’d asked her out then and there. It happens. If you’re respectful about it and know how to take no it’s not a big deal to me. But you stalked her into the parking lot. That’s creepy. Don’t do that bro. Just don’t. That’s a good way to get maced
