24M here. I’ve been struggling to build meaningful romantic connections with women, and I genuinely want to understand what I might be doing wrong. This isn’t a rant - I’m not bitter or angry, I just want real insight so I can improve.

On paper, I’ve got a lot going for me: I’m a good-looking guy, I have a solid career, a strong sense of humor, decent charisma, and I’m genuinely interesting - I can hold conversations on a wide range of topics. When I meet women, I approach with confidence, openness, and friendliness. I use humor, stay present, and show real interest in who they are.

I’ve tried meeting women in various places - bars, tinder, hobby-related events, even just random street interactions. No matter where, the pattern is the same: I give way more energy than I get. The interaction feels like it’s only happening because I’m holding it up.

I don’t act needy or desperate, and I’m not pushy. I go in with a “player mindset” - no expectations, just curiosity. Yes, I hope something romantic might happen, but I don’t let that influence my vibe. I don’t act superior either - I’m just real and open. But it’s like nobody wants to “read the book,” so to speak.

I try to create depth in conversations, but I often hit a wall of indifference. It feels like I’m trying to connect with someone who’s not even trying to meet me halfway.

My question is: what are the most likely reasons for this? Why isn’t even one woman showing serious initiative toward me? How can I shift this dynamic, so I’m not always the one chasing, but actually being pursued?

I’m not here to complain. I want to understand and improve - for real. Any honest feedback is appreciated.
