I try and reply within an hour assuming I can. At some point you realize that all chemistry comes from authenticity and it’s inauthentic to play games

Don't play stupid games and don't allow stupid games to be played. If she's purposely aloof you should move on and focus on other girls. If a girl is interested in you she will reply as soon as she can.

I like to follow two guidelines.

Mirror her response times. That way you're not texting excessively fast or slow.
Don't be weird about it. If you wanna reply in 10 or 20 minutes, do it. If you're genuinely busy, it's okay to let it slip a little.

Let the girls play their silly games over texts, us guys have work to do.

you seem to be on right path. replying instantly can show you have nothing better to do. it is a turn off even if some girl is genuinely interested.

i was recently talking to a girl who was crazy about this guy but she kept telling(in a turned off way) this guy is available 24x7. i just text himand his response is instant. always ready to talk and text.

You don't want to make it seem like you're too available, but you don't want to take too long to respond either. Maybe wait like 5 minutes to respond to messages if you're seeing them instantly.

I honestly just reply when I can. Sometimes it’s instantly, other times it might be hours because I’m doing something. Never days tho, everyone checks their phone at least once a day.

I also set an hour as the bar, I usually catch up with all texts and emails at the same time. I don't set the hour to artificially ice people, I set the hour so that when I am busy and can't immediately address something, it doesn't seem like a crazy shift or communicate disinterest because people were used to instant.

I usually mirror responses time. Then if texts get faster and fastee, then I know its just becoming natural.

At some point if the real connection is there you won't even ask that kind of question to yourself anymore 😉

I dont like stupid games like these. If I feel he always take too long to reply (I mean several hours or even days) I lost interest on him. Reply when you want, just not inmediatly in order to look not to anxious, and it would be fine.

At the start I was like you, replying quite quickly. As a change I would wait a while for the first message but if she was quick to respond then I’ll be quick back to get a convo flowing. If you wait for too long you kill the flow of the text. Nowadays it’s all kind of ingrained so I don’t think about it.

Yeah bro, leave it for an hour even more. Maybe every now then get your texts out in like 10 min intervals maybe 20 mins. Sometimes I don’t message a girl for a day or two if I feel the vibes can’t be changed and we already been intimate. End of the day do what you feel comfy with but don’t be hitting her up all the time. Leave an aura of mystery and if you talking to her all the time it leaves nothing to speak on in person. That don’t mean you should be sitting round your house doing nothing, pick up hobbies, do shit that gives you purpose. There shouldn’t be a stress on when you hit her back up cause you staying busy anyway

Match and mirror the energy. If she's responding right away, respond right away. If she's taking several hours, you should as well. It's not playing games, it's simply matching the level of priority she puts on you. It really messes with your sense of self-worth and overall mental health if you don't do this and respond right away even when she takes 6-8 hours to respond to you.

I don't use any other social media except WhatsApp and Reddit.

And I don't turn on notifications for either of them. So I would ideally respond whenever I use these apps.

All the people that know me know that I am best reached on voice call.

That being said, the good way to reply is to evaluate how fast she responds. If she responds back to your text (the ones that you initiated, for eg you sent her a link for a funny meme or a video that you guys both could relate to) in under 10 mins, you also respond back the same way.

If most responses are received half a day later, you need to evaluate the expectation from this lady, especially of you are interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with her

Not related to girls, but I just tend to put my phone away for hours at a time and do whatever it is that I'm doing. If I happen to be at my phone when she messages, I'll answer. If I'm not, she might be waiting a while. Weirdly enough, they can kind of sense whether you're faking business or you just really didn't get around to it for a while.

If you want to 'create' anticipation, then just genuinely put your phone away for a while. Maybe check it 5 times a day or so. There's nothing that screams low-value more than constantly being reachable, and that goes for work, friends, and family as well.

If we really have a great and interesting topic: I'd reply right away. I'm establishing that bond,

If it's just the simple formalities like wyd or what u up to: it would usually take within an hour or so BECAUSE I'm actually doing something.

That's the key. To actually have something else to do rather that just play texting games. As ridiculous as it sounds, women will smell your bullshit.

Usually quick to close friends and family (max 10 minutes unless busy or on meeting). For romantic interests it varies a bit. If the convo going and if she answers fast, I go fast. If she takes a while to answer like more than 1 hour, I try to answer it below that (45 minutes for example)

Real good question, I've always replied as soon as i could cuz i want to kick the game & keep the ball rolling. But lately i noticed girls purposely dont reply. Which absolutely sucks in my opinion, big dislike!

However i tried the same strategy on them to get familiar with this new method & i feel it's not authentic. Im bending myself already before she even bend for me. It's so odd how men think their behavior in this respect has anything to do with seducing women. The reason women sometimes want to have sex with a given man has nothing to do with his "game" and everything to do with what's happening in her life at that given moment. Is she recently single? Ovulating? Bored? Burnt out from work/school and looking for something crazy tonight to let off steam? She'll make that pretty clear. Otherwise, you don't have any control over the situation. With my partner, if I know he's on a work break, I try and respond right away because sometimes that's the only time he gets to chat during his long shifts. I'm bad for responding right away. If a person is taking a long time to respond in between texts, then I'll assume they are busy and spread out responses longer.

Mostly I don't want to appear "too" available but I don't like being kept waiting for hours unless there is a very good excuse (working, etc).
