I used to follow this girl on tiktok a year ago. She used to do a lot of comedy skits and impressions. She was down to earth. That's what made her attractive. Then she started thotting out and getting more attention. It's hilarious how much her personality changed from being down to earth, to having a "bad bitch" attitude in such a short time. Totally agree. I think a lot of modern dating pain for men is because so many don’t know how to draw boundaries and stand up for themselves. Lots of guys will put up with terrible women and bad relationships because they don’t think they can get anything else. On top of that, plenty of guys also work with the framework that they need a relationship and they don’t recognize the potential for happiness and fulfillment they can achieve on their own.

I mean, yeah, the fact that men want women more than women want men is what gives women the leverage in the dating market.

But… what are you going to do about it? Sure, "if men in general started doing X instead of Y, Z wouldn't be the case," but how are you going to get four billion people to co-ordinate to make some collective behavioural change? It's hard enough for businesses in a certain market to coordinate well enough to successfully form a cartel. It happens more easily when there are few firms—an oligopoly—that get together to agree to fix prices. But if you have a whole lot of them, it's not likely to happen. Even less likely if there are four billion of them.

And, essentially, what you're proposing is that men form a cartel to fix the price of something. Validation from us has become too plentiful, lowering it's value value. As a whole, give out too many "omg you're gorgeous"es and profile swipes and whatever. You want men to decide to restrict the supply of these things to raise their value. Getting that many people to cooperate would be a massive undertaking.

This is why I think it's dumb to get mad at "simps." Yeah, I get it, they make dating harder for every guy, because they make it the case that interest from us isn't special. They lower our collective "value." But we literally cannot do anything about that. We can't change their behaviour; we can only focus on our own. Getting mad at simps isn't "alpha" or whatever; it's maybe marginally better than being a simp. Because if you're spending your time getting mad about simps existing, what you're saying is "I'm upset that I can't get laid more."

Ask yourself: do you think that the guys who are killing it out there are even thinking about simps? Nope, because they are secure enough in themselves that they know they can get dates and sex regardless of whether simps exist. Clearly, women who want to date and have sex with men still exist. Clearly, you can still be the man whom straight women want to date and have sex with. Worry about that instead of about "simps." They aren't even competition for you.

Maybe it’s because I don’t live in the US / don’t meet women mostly online, but in my experience most women are normal and reasonable. The whole thing about women having their egos inflated and thinking they’re 10s isn’t something I’ve really observed in the real world. While I agree with the spirit of this post, I feel a lot of red pilled/awakened men severely underestimate the power of social programming. The social engineers (i.e Mass media, politicians, corporate overlords, etc.) have a deep understand of human psychology and are experts at exploiting vulnerabilities of human nature such as our tendency to prefer comfort over conflict, to fulfill their agendas, whatever they may be.
