Another thing is Tinder gonna bury your profile deep in the system. At first it will be promoted and then thrown inside the pile. It won't be as visible as in the beginning. Meaning that it is literally rigged to make you start paying for it. If you keep on reinstalling your profile, you can bypass this. It's just horrible how the huge companies try to make poor people even poorer, trying to take advantage of everything. All kinds of dirty tricks just to save costs or force you to give them money.

I tried the same thing once, it was crazy as you say.

But what else I did - I created a male profile. I picked a Youtuber who was not that famous, he was muscular and very handsome looking. The results were almost as crazy as with a girls profile, a lot of girls messaged first etc.

That motivated myself to improve my looks. I'd recommend you do the same

Speaks to the fundamental lack of desperation with women when it comes to sex. Like I have some stuff going for me as a man, but to get a girl to have sex with me takes a lot of time, effort and luck. It’s pretty rare for me to meet a woman where I can sense that same level of “thirst” for sex that most men have, and it’s because of this. This puts it into stark perspective too. In 1994 a hot woman would still definitely have a lot of options, but if she wanted to have sex then she’d had to pretty herself up and go to the bar and socialize a bit. If she was introverted and shy maybe that would have been a roadblock. Now most women can get sex on demand without any socializing, it’s pretty wild. Amazing to think how locked down, controlled and oppressed women and their sexuality was in the 1950s, how that slowly changed and now in the last ten years the power dynamic has completely and utterly changed. I’m pro freedom and this I believe in principle is a good thing, but let’s admit that there is social damage when most women are almost exclusively fucking the very hottest men and everybody else is left in the dust and 30 percent of guys in their 20s are virgins. I don’t know what the actual solution to this sociological problem is so don’t infer ultra reactionary red-pill prescriptions from this mix

I think the part that you are missing is that while most women have lots of guys pining for them, most girls don't want anything to do with those guys. The guys they have access to are common and not interesting. They still want a guy that isn't really available. So you can get with those girls if you're better than most of those guys.

i tried to tell people this and got downvoted. thats just how it is. attractiveness doesnt factor into it as much as you think. chicks just get more matches. you can score there, but you have to stand out of 100 other guys. messages are the real thing you need to pay attention to bc any red/yellow flags, or even a vibe mismatch on any particular day can cause you to be put back at the bottom of their pile. that's why cold approach is preferred.

Dude, try that in a country like India and I promise you your thumb would fall off before you reach the last match. My buddy and I had tried it with a nerdy looking girl (maybe a 6 tops) and had 10k matches in under 2 days on his Tinder Gold. Some of them we're budding actors, pilots, Business men, you name it! Tinder and instagram are srsly like giving Godly powers to women when it comes to having a "choice for dating".

American Tinder is like going to the US Naval academy to look for a woman to date. Most of the Cadets are male and the competition to fight for females is fierce and furious.

How about trying a slightly different experiment.

Use your own profile but target the Philippines and Ukraine and say something like,

Hey I have a 45 foot yacht and happy to take you sailing around the US and the Carribean this summer! Any takers out there?

Would be interesting to see how the metrics play out in those dating market places.

Ukranian chick's are looking to relocate quickly, Filipinas like white guys over their own men.

I understand and it is an amazing disproportionate number. The bigger question is, out of all those immediate likes and matches, how would you rate the quality of the guys? I’ve had some women share their likes with me and any decent looking guy shouldn’t panic about their much higher number of likes. I’m referring to the more professional OLD sites and not Tinder, I do want to make this clear and your point is still accurate and well substantiated.

Many guys just randomly hit the like button on every pretty face and with the mindset of, what do I have to lose?, and many of these guys are nothing to be concerned about.

Ah, another case of a man projecting his own sexual perspective onto women. A man needs two things to become sufficiently aroused and ready to have sex (getting a boner and being able to use it):

A woman who is attractive looking enough, a fluid standard that changes based on how many beers you've had, how late it is getting and the last time you've had sex.
A woman who also appears willing.

That's all! So guys think, jeez, if I were a hot girl, well everybody in the world would be willing. And out of all those people, at least some guys would be attractive looking enough. So the only reason women aren't having sex every single waking minute of their lives is because their standards must be insanely high.

Well, have you considered that maybe women have a very different arousal mechanism than men? That maybe they need to be charmed by someone confident, who takes charge of the interaction, that they need emotional tension with that person before they decide to go to bed with him? Men talk about self confidence which is all about how you feel about yourself. Now tell me how many men do you know who genuinely like and feel good about themselves? How many men do you know who gladly accept the role of man with all of its burdens and responsibilities to lead and make decisions? How many men do you know who are genuinely interested in a woman beside her being a collection of moist holes?

Figure that out and you will figure out why women can be inundated with willing men and still not feel they have met anyone worth their time.

Dude, as a girl who tried tinder and yeah, got similar numbers, it's less 'We get everything handed on a platter' and more 'welcome to the buffet, some is safe but bland, some will make you violently ill, some might be poisoned, some will be cold or burned and if you do find anything you like, it's a limited time special. I dunno, maybe it's cause I find hook ups boring (physically) so didn't want tinder for just sex, I was looking for something chill and fun like a FWB, but that wasnt what the 10x too many dudes wanted.

It's like trying to find a size 5 shoe in a store that only sells sizes 8+, there could 5 shoes in the store or 50,000 but either way I can't wear any of them.

Like, the numbers are higher but the quality isn't, more doesnt equal better.

Also, this is why you don't often hear back or match, I was so swarmed after matching with only a few guys that I couldn't handle responding to all of them, like it was impossible to manage chatting with that many different people and I bet a lot of good ones slip through the cracks or lost in the fray

Yes I get lots of matches too. And then lots pf those don’t reply or ghost after one or two messages. A good amount of men ask for nudes or video with no intention of ever meeting up. Another part of men will open with an insult. And the ones that do talk a bit and don’t turn out to be nice guys who will call me a bitch if I take longer to reply usually also ghost eventually, or ask for nudes out of the blue.
