Try to structure things so your ass is getting out and being social as soon as you're off the clock each day. All the hobbies in the world won't make a lick of difference if you don't use your free time to get out and meet people.

If you have a garage or extra space, recommend putting up a punching bag and teaching yourself some basic boxing or Muay Thai combinations, there are some decent videos out there. Include some other calisthenics exercises in as well.

Like others said, reading and writing consistently will make you a very well-rounded person.

I bought a small laser engraver for fun and a vinyl cutter. Got them each off Amazon, couple hundred each and you can upgrade the laser or use it as is. I make cutesy stuff for my kids and I, and the occasion going away plaque for friends at work. The vinyl cutter makes fun decal for cars, shirts, wall art etc…. I use it for all those things when ever a creative idea strikes.

I picked up leatherwork as a hobby before covid, it is easily the coolest medium I have ever worked with. Can make so many useful things that last generations, easy to make gifts for friends/family too. The leather rose is always a winner for the special lady.

Over 60 years ago I was collecting stamps, which sound boring, but I turned it into an exercise in education, history, geography and in the end quite a lot of money when I sold it. It was in a time when there were no home computers, so I had to find information from libraries etc & a lot of reading as well as from school work & teachers. With each country, I would look up what the country was called in it's own language & script, the capital & major centres, the leader of the country, population etc. and found out about historical & commemorative depictions on the stamps. Some countries there was only one stamp on a page as their was so much information about the stamp, it took the whole page to type (yes, using a manual typewriter to list the information). I was lucky at one stage, finding in a philately shop, a sheet of stamps commemorating a composers birthday, but the design has another composers music shown as background. The stamps were recalled quickly, but the shop I was in didn't realise what they had. I bought it for around $50, a lot of money in the 60's, but I sold it through an auction house in the U.K. for over £10,000.

Now, semi retired and living in another country, I spend 14 hours a day running a small convenience store, I have plenty of time on my hands, to fill in. As well as normal housework, I bake cookies & breads to order, making up dough after I close shop at 8pm & form & load into trays to proof overnight, then up around 5am (my 6 cats want breakfast) and put bakery items in over to have ready from 6am when I open the store. The rest of the day is spent serving, cooking snacks/meals for customers, doing housework, trips to nearest town to shop for some items not delivered by suppliers & to pay bills. I do some gardening, paying nephews to do the harder work, & often as they can serve in the shop, I leave them to it & have a doze or read a book, to rest up my legs & back.

I also spend a fair amount of time online, posting on various sites, doing emails to family & friends in my home country & others too, I write for a couple of groups and trying to put together a "book" of my near 75 years on this earth, so I find very little spare time on my hands & it keeps me busy, especially while covid restrictions are still around.

Lifting weights, some physical outdoor activity. Getting really into an activity such as going to the gym or running will inevitably lead you to encounter women with similar interests. I highlight going to the gym, especially. Once you start going to a gym consistently, you will inevitably meet other people, women included, who also share a passion for working out. Not to mention improving your longevity and overall health. It is a win-win-win imo.

You'd want to do something that leads you to a goal or set of goals.

Effectively getting paid to work out is amazing - take advantage of it. Learn finance/investments.

If your workload is really that minimal, you could also see about double dipping on another WFH and double your income for this work time or starting a side business.

Basically, use this time to something that develops a long-term, hard to achieve goal. It can be playing the guitar, etc. You're blessed with a great opportunity, take advantage.

3) Learn daytrading. It's freaking hard, but done right you only need an hour or two per day to look at charts and put trades on. The payoff is loads of money and even more free time. Failing that, start an amazon business or something.

Not only is it super attractive, the confidence, social aspect, physical health, mental benefits and more are all huge gains for a single hobby.

Once you start becoming good, you'll have the opportunity to move through out the communities, ensuring a steady influx of meeting potential partners.
