I recently went to an art event to support a friend and had a really good time. For a brief moment I was by myself and this younger guy approached me. We had a normal conversation and I didn’t think anything of it. Literally forgot about him as soon as we finished the conversation.

Yesterday I received a text from a random number - it was him. No idea how he got a hold of my number and he didn’t tell me either. We texted for a bit and he started talking nonsense (i.e. saying that we had great chemistry and would make a cute couple). Then he asked me out on a date and I said no. Surprisingly enough his response was calm but I knew some bullshit was coming.

Around 30 minutes later he asked me if I have an Only Fans. Imagine that, this guy had the audacity to ask me if I do porn after I said I’m not interested in a date.

This is the problem with modern men. Everything is pornified and they literally see women as a set of holes that exist for their pleasure. That guy does not view me as a human being that exists independently of his desires which is why it was so easy for him to dehumanize me. In his universe I only exist when he’s horny and wants to stick his dick somewhere.

Porn dehumanizes all women. Even if you don’t do porn, platforms like Only Fans give men the impression that lots of regular, everyday women do porn and enjoy it. They assume that you’re willing to engage in that industry because that’s what they expect of you as a woman.

First I was pissed but now I’m just disappointed. This guy was younger than me and already has a seriously distorted view of women. Porn culture is dangerous and promotes the dehumanization of women everywhere.
