In my experience it is all. You have to accept yourself AND take action. I think the second part is even more important. And once you get results (negative and positive) you can manifest both. Things like being witty and flirty just came with confidence and the resulting ability to be yourself.

You also realise how little other opinions matter if you are yourself. Most of my embarrassing memories are of me not being myself, and not of me being myself.

But that was just my experience from being completely shy, to getting with a lot of girls, to now texting and flirting with a girl I really like and being nervous about our situation and if she really does feel the same.

So it's a different journey for everyone 😉

Well it turns out, cockiness is more attractive than confidence. There was a study and women rated the cocky participants as more attractive than just the confident ones. But you do have to be confident to be cocky so goes hand in hand i guess

You have to exude power and confidence naturally. Smell nice, workout, dress well, have a good job. Women will be able to tell if you are faking anything. Sure confidence is good but you need to be able to back it up

The point that so many dudes miss in the manosphere community is that women like competent men.

Competence is more essential. It is the foundation that backs your confidence and self acceptance, and in of itself is an attraction trigger.

If a girl is seeing some "Chad" and she needs someone to fix her car or repair her furnace and the dude supposedly "knows what he is doing" and he is struggling or failing, she will laugh at him in her mind regardless of his looks money or status, and he becomes a Brad in her eyes. Same girl is seeing a normal bearded idiot that can back up what he claims he knows how to do and pulls this stuff off effortlessly, who do you think she sees as a better bet for survival?

Dial in on what you are good at and make it known, find people that have use for your skills or knowledge. This will grow your money and networking circles and expose u to more women as they become exposed to your competence.

Yes. There is only two things:

-Looksmaxxing: you need to be hot to attract hot generally. Period. If you see beatiful women with ugly men it's because of 2nd point.

-Psychology: get therapy. Your parents aren't enough, they probably didn't give you the right resources to thrive in the world. Maybe they are terrible, maybe ok and sometimes incredible but nothing can replace the internal growth a trained professional can give you. Beatiful woman with ugly man means he probably satisfies her deep internal needs.

Source: i was ugly and have a personality disorder so i was mentally very ill. 3 years after starting looksmaxxing and almost 2 years after starting therapy i became hot and mentally much better and i'm blowing up in both social and romantic relationships. I have an outstanding social life and i am starting to date now, and i am making great progress.

If confidence was the most essential thing it would create an catch-22, confidence is the most essential thing in seduction, but you wont have confidence at your seduction because you dont have the most essential thing in seduction (that is confidence).

Having X is a prehequisite for having X, and thats impossible, unless:

1-Its impossible to have X.

You still need to meet a woman’s minimum threshold for that confidence to matter. There a lot of confident men who most women wouldn’t touch. Having something of value, whatever that may be, as long as it is hard and tangible, is the key. Sure, that confidence can make you well liked but it won’t make women want to fuck you if they already didn’t want to.

Confidence is a side effect from other things that you are doing to improve your life.

Confidence for me came when I learned the mentality that I am going to enjoy life to the fullest as I only have one and im completely fine on my own, i dont require approval from anyone except those I care about and lets say someone wants to be my partner that would be great to have someone to enjoy life with but not necessary whatsoever. Just straight vibin, the confidence comes. I learned to feel this way when travelling to other countries solo.

Authentic confidence is gard to gain. Basically, knowing where you are in the societal ladder. For example: if you are world class rockstar, you are very confident in yourself because people know you. You can tke shirt off and walk in Manhattan and people will still give you attention….If you have lots of money(means status), you get confidence. You cant expect or its very hard to gain full confidence when you are living paycheck to paycheck and are at the bottom-middle of societal ladder. Until then fake until make it. Thats my thought.

The answer being a NO would create a catch 22.

Unless I am doing a "Reductio ad absurdum".

EDIT: Found the solution to this paradox, they dont know confidence is the most essential thing and so is able to have confidence because they think that what matters is something else. After that, they have confidence (at something else) and so is able to have confidence at their confidence,
