If you’re in the US, go and enter as many random reports as you can. Use fake but believable names.

If you’re outside the US, use a VPN.

Go onto a real estate website and find listings of vacant homes in remote areas of the state. Places like Uvalde, Jasper, or Dumas. Make up some names that are neither too incredulous nor too generic. You don't want them throwing out the report because they see a joke name like "Heywood Jablomi", but 10,000 reports with names like "John Smith" would also come off as fake. The object is to waste their time, not your own.

This law has to be struck down as unconstitutional. I think Roe will be seriously weakened probably by next summer but, good Lord, I don't see how this can be upheld.

When you submit fake reports PLEASE make them sound real. Anything with Cruz/trump/other notable people is just of waste of your time and will automatically be thrown out.

I've made a ton of reports about women who said they were pregnant, went out of state and are now not pregnant. Sprinkle in a bit of racism, some boomer language and real zip codes and you've got junk data that is indistinguishable from real data and needs an actual person to investigate.

For those of you that don't know, this Texas law is a $10,000 bounty on abortions. You can sue basically anyone involved in an abortion (except the father I'm sure) for $10,000 plus attorneys fees. These "good Christians" are sitting outside every gynecologist office in Texas reporting women for getting pap smears.

I've read that they have it programmed to discard obviously made-up tips... So try to use 'real' names (you can use a name generator) and believable tips... like 'My daughter's friend was upset all the time a couple weeks ago, then her dad took her on a short 'vacation' to another state... and now my daughter told me the girl is suddenly fine but can't come over for a couple of days because she wasn't feeling well...'

The site doesn't look like it's simply for reporting or women who got an abortion, and certainly not NVMs who got what they wanted when an abortion was done. Instead it reads like it's to report pracitioners who aren't following the law that Texas passed and are performing abortions past the heartbeat detection cutoff, which they state is "generally around 6 weeks." Which would have impacted me in my decision and I don't know how I feel about that right now. Mix of glad I wasn't there, and wishing I was.

If the abortionist is acting in bad faith or does not properly document the method and results of the heartbeat detection the law is violated. Individuals who aid or abet an illegal abortion can also be sued under SB 8.

SB 8 is unique since enforcement is in the hands of private citizens.

Looks to me more like "report scuzzy doctors who lie on forms" or something, not sure if the woman who seeks out the abortion, is aiding or abetting (other than herself?). I wonder if there's a similar anonymous tip line for reporting shoddy Covid testing/vax administering, or some other kind of "general scuzzy doctor/clinical office behavior." And if there were, how helpful would it be to spam those?
