Interestingly, the Gulabi Gang in India is the only group of female vigilantes that I am aware of. They have been active for years and years now, beating up rapists and child molesters that the police allow to roam free, and somehow they don't seem to ever turn into a shitshow the way male vigilantes do - they are targeted, effective, and restrained.
