This woman's story reminds me of my best friend who got divorced. His wife was nothing exceptional and she divorced him thinking she was going to get a huge cash prize from family court. He was prepared and had her DUI's and witnesses to show she was a poor mother and she got mere joint custody and not a penny from him. A year later, she asked him to reconcile, he declined.

Someone like this is similar to a dog that runs away and then comes back a few days later crying for food. She had it good with that ex of hers and now she's going to figure out just how much. We need to have a movement to educate men to take these women back, sort of. Let them sign secondary pre-nups and/or friends with benefits contracts where they cede all financial authority (power of attorney) to their ex-husband for the privilege of getting a fraction of their marriage back.

I don't know much about type 1 diabetes but I doubt drinking to such excess that you black out and vomit makes it better. Likely her destructive lifestyle is more of a problem than her disease.

This is one of the very rare instances where I feel bad for one of these women. Her body is going to end up being found in a dumpster if she doesn't get a grip.

People bond to others, they want shared experiences, to grow and learn with each other and to be able to trust each other has their backs when things get tough.

I'm willing to bet she has no personality or hobbies, the only thing she offers is sex. So she goes to bars, gets blackout drunk and waits for someone to approach her rather than look for good guys and join them. If she wants to start off a relationship non-physical with a guy she first has to have something which a guy can relate to, such as a hobby or an interest and then go to where guys with that interest could gather.

This woman has Type 1 diabetes, or what used to be called juvenile diabetes. It can be a debilitating condition with all sorts of comorbidities.

It's not her fault.

But it's not men's fault either. It's not your fault. You, and other men, are NOT required to alleviate her suffering or deal with it in any way.

She blew chunks in this guy's car probably because she either (1) woke up with a guy after a night of drinking and couldn't handle the alcohol; or (2) woke up with the guy and didn't eat anything. Diabetics have uncontrolled blood glucose. T1 diabetics are particularly hard to control. And, yes, alcohol fucks up your blood glucose. When you drink a lot, your blood sugar spikes and your pancreas has to pump out insulin to handle it. Diabetics have pancreases that can't send out enough insulin to deal with all the sugar. So... diabetics have to limit or abstain from alcohol. She apparently didn't do that. Or, you have to eat to keep your blood sugar where it should be, and she didn't do that.

It's not men's fault that she's a T1 diabetic. It's not men's fault that women have physical or mental or emotional damage.

And you don't have to take that on in a woman if you don't want to.
