OP trusted these people way too much. The daughter sounds troubled, and yes she is a minor, but why was her father exposing her to these women he dated so early? When the father exploded on OP, it seemed he was behind a lot of this nonsense.

I may be alone, but I one hundred percent believe the story is real. Because what’s actually happening here is the father is manipulating the daughter and weaponizing her to control the OP’s social life. This is just an advanced version of what regular men do when they break up with the mother of their children/ex-wife. They use their children and weaponize time with them to keep tabs on who the mother is dating and cause chaos so she can’t successfully move on. They hope that they’re going to wear the woman down enough so she will settle for his scraps and they can get back together and he won’t have to change.

In this case, this guy clearly using his daughter but I’m sure he is manipulating her so well, he has her convinced that he will finally love her and show her attention if she just does him one little favor and helps get the OP back as his girlfriend. Of course he only wants on tap sex and someone to do all the childcare and inconvenient stuff so his life can go back to normal. And he’s managing to keep his daughter in this woman’s life by manipulating her feelings that he created! He encouraged his child to become a unhealthily attached to this woman upfront so then he could say “you can’t possibly leave me because little Karen will feel like you’re abandoning her and she has abandonment issues”! You can see he doesn’t care about what he’s doing to his daughter because he’s rejecting all of this woman suggestions that he get his daughter some therapy. I really believe in the story because men do this all the time. They just manipulate their children until they break them and then it’s like a child with a toy, they don’t wanna be bothered with it anymore, now that it is broken. 😡🤬

This is just sad. She should have helped enroll the girl in some kind of youth mentoring program, and washed her hands of the situation, not let a random teenage girl wander around her house every week. Sounds a bit like the daughter has borderline personality disorder...a disorder that can cause manipulative and unhealthy behavior often stemming from a severe fear of abandonment and a need to control others around you to present further abandonment...of course theirs more to it than that but...that I'd what I immediately thought of.

Holy shit, this poor kid. I guarantee you her dad's responsible for this (firstly, because no kid, even if they're a child of divorce, is that obsessed with finding a surrogate mom that they'd attach to some woman this strongly in just 9 months, and secondly, because her dad was apparently careless enough to introduce someone new into her life only to be completely 'oblivious' about what affect this has on her).
