No. However, when I’ve noticed a woman or man is showing “signals” that they are attracted to another woman or man, I always tell the person who seems oblivious because I don’t want them to miss out on something they might be interested in and I’m not one for subtlety

Kind of? I’ve successfully helped guys become more physically attractive to women (clothes, skincare, hair) and I’ve helped guys work out issues with their girlfriends.

But as far as talking to and dating women, I only know what works for me so..

I am yet to hear dating advice from a woman (I am sure it’s out there somewhere, I just haven’t seen it) where my first thought wasn’t “one, this is nice sounding nonsense, and two, the parts that aren’t nonsense work for YOU, not for men”. I have found women to be especially unreliable with regard to this specific area. I wouldn’t be surprised if many are just as bad with advising other women, and not men.

Yes I have before. They didn’t end up dating but they did end up eating healthier, working out more, and being happier in life so mission failed successfully.

I'm a wing woman and match maker for most of my friends, male, female, hetero, and homo.

I'm close with my friends and know them as if they're myself. I also know "people" well. My approach to helping my friends date is about finding them people who would like them specifically as they are.

If I'm out with my friends in public I help introduce them to people that I've been talking to that I know they'd get along with.

So far 3 people are engaged because of me and would have never met each other if it weren't for me being a social butterfly.

Seriously dating isn't about finding as many random people as possible, it's about finding the right person for someone as an individual specifically.

Sure, here’s one example: He was really struggling with getting dates and meeting women. I helped him with his OLD profile, took pictures for him, helped him craft his bio, gave tips for dates, etc. He met a great girl online and they recently just got married :)

Yes. When asked, i will suggest a few makeover items. Always successful. If i remember it was, shoes, facial hair, clothes that fit and posture.

Yes. He got married to the girl he was into since highschool.

Friend two, he stopped pinning over the girl who was in a relationship and actively tried to keep guys around in the hopes one of them would go full phantom of the opera and fight her boyfriend in a big dramatic way for her hand. He got a girlfriend after he gave a girl who was super into him a chance.

Friend three yes but he still is a shut-in.

Yes. I told him to stop self sabotaging. He’d make “jokes” to girls on dates about hating himself and that they probably didn’t like him. He’d actively complain to the person he was on a date with about being single. I told him that it was unattractive and honestly pathetic. He took my advice and got a gf a few months after

I stopped trying because they don't listen.

Usually the issue is something they have full control over changing, like their weight or style.

A lot of guys also want to be successful with online dating but refuse to take better photos.

"Why should I have to change to attract women? Why can't they like me for who I am"... meanwhile the women they're going for go to the gym, dress up, and put tons of effort into their looks.

But just once and after 2 years of giving that advice I come to the conclusion they will not marry bc theres no actual commitment. Dude is settling with the girl in chances to get another that may be a better "catch".

Not in regards to attracting a girl but he was talking to this girl he was interested in. She was obviously playing mind games with him and I attempted to point it out. He was too blinded to see. She was never interested in him but he was a simp for her and she used that to her advantage. Sure if asked. My best friend wanted a solid long term relationship but just kept hooking up with the prettiest girls at the party and wondering why all his connections fell apart in a couple of months.

I had another friend who just needed someone to say "Yes, she is completely into you, ask her out". But that's about it. Most of my male friends are happy in their current relationships or situations, they aren't seeking out advice because they are doing fine.

Yes - but only when asked. I advised him to be more direct with a girl he liked, so she knew he didn’t just see her as a friend. He thought it should be obvious to her that he was interested in more - I said not necessarily. I believe most women see men as neutral until they escalate things away from standard social discourse. I know that’s how I work - I don’t assume a man is attracted to me and wants more unless he makes it somewhat obvious.

Anyway, he didn’t do anything and she ended up dating someone else - he was upset because he thought “she should have known how I felt” and he seemed to feel somewhat betrayed by her. It was weird to me - like he expected her to have a sixth sense about him and what a great guy he was just through some casual interactions…I wish it worked that way, but it seems overly romantic to me to expect someone to just sense it. It’s also unusual for women to make the first move, which seems to be what he expected - and would actually clash with the ideal woman he seems to want (accepting, agreeable, etc). I wouldn’t say he’s completely typical of men I know - but I see it often online that men seem to want a “feminine” woman, but want her to be more masculine when it comes to initiating romance/sex. Generally submissive, agreeable “feminine” personality traits don’t align with also being assertive and risking rejection by initiating things…

I've had cousins ask me for advice on dating girls throughout my life for whatever reason. Most of it was when I was a kid and at the time I had zero desire to pair up so my advice wasn't really the best for dating so much as making really close friends. However I have had one young cousin ask me for advice recently but it's too soon to tell whether it's actually working or not.

My advice amounted to putting effort into improving himself, asking the girl he likes on dates and being a gentleman to her. I also advised him to make sure she had a good background and has adequate respect for others and herself to prevent himself from getting hurt too.

My fellow Americans, we have full on child marriage. In some states, a child can marry at 13 if their parents give consent. This leads to a lot of child brides forced to give up school, and go be a slave/breeder for (generally) much older men. It’s not something that only happens in other countries. It happens right in our own back yard.

No. I have a policy against it. It's never advice on how to be attractive in general, but how to get with a very specific person. Clearly she doesn't want you, a relationship, or a combination of both. You can't fix that.
