I noticed some women here get really mad when users even suggest they are not as attractive as 10 years ago. Some of them claim it is not a big thing and others claim it is not even a thing, that women at 40 are "clearly" more attractive because they have a job or they are educated or some shit that has nothing to do with biological sexual attraction men have on fertile women. Others get very resentful and claim they never needed men in the first place, which may be accurate, but the resentment and those comments suggest that part of them does care about sex appeal (which is natural in humans).

Mid-age to older Women must recognize that even if they are not as sexually attractive anymore, that does not mean they are not loved by men, and women are still loved and desired by plenty of men... just not as much as before. Sure, men may prefer younger women and such, but they also often want a loving wife, family, a mother for their children. Most Men, even criminal men, are very protective and loving of their mothers, sisters, daughters, etc. without any sexual interest there.

There is no need to be in denial about losing sexual appeal. There is also no need to say "but men lose the appeal too!" because they also do, but not at the same time nor at the same rate, and in a sense, men have it harder in another sense: they have to earn their sexual appeal.

Women are very very very sexually attractive for a few years for men, while men are less sexually attractive to women overall but if they have no status and money they get more attention and chances with women that see a stable future with them, which is hard to get for men. So it all evens out. It sucks for both genders, just in different categories.
