The source of gender inequality is that women are the means of reproduction, this has been both a blessing and a curse for women through the history.

A blessing because women weren't sent in millions to die in the trenches. A curse because in order to own the means of reproduction, men would traditionally own a woman.

​

Women have achieved equal access to political power, work, education. And in some cases that equality is achieved by giving them an unfair advantage via the usage of gender quotas.

​

At the same time when it comes to the means of reproduction men are entirely at the mercy of women. And women don't really care about giving men equal rights or opportunities.

​

Just try to imagine working, or education market working on the same principles as dating market. No work/education for you because you are too short, wrong race, bisexual, from poor family. Feel free to try somwhere else. Offcourse you can pay for surrogacy. It's only about $150K, more then 2 year median US brutto incomes. Cost of sperm is about $1K.

Currently the only way to give men equal and fair access to the means of reproduction is tyranny over women. No one sane is suggesting that, but also fuck you guys. And there is no way to achieve freedom AND equality at the same time. Either someone gets unfairly discriminated, or someone loses their freedom to discriminate.

For gay couples, it is possible to create male/female offspring using cells from two men. And female offspring using cells from two women. So gay couples get to have their children.

​

For women it means being able to detach pregnancy from her own body. But also since women are not the only means of reproduction, it means the kind of sexual freedom that men enjoy. If men don't need a woman to start a family, nobody cares if her N is 1 or 100... men can start a family with their buddies.
