Correct, which is why I believe RP is misogynistic, “rule for thee, not for me” bullcrap.

Due to my dad’s work, my dad’s friends/colleagues are mostly oil&gas executives all over Asia. Growing up I’m mostly friends with these executives’ kids. Yes their wives are mostly a SAHM. Literally the only wife I know who works is my mom (she’s a doctor). However, none of these executives’ daughters are SAHM and/or uneducated. Not only that, I would say 90% of the daughters hold a job in a male dominated field (eg engineering, medicine, lawyer) and some hold PHDs. This is not a coincidence btw, the dads are pushing educations hard on their daughters because they know the reality of life. Even my dad said, I don’t want my daughters to be kept women (I personally don’t think SAHMs are “kept women” but that’s what he said).

Additionally, I’m an engineer and almost all of my coworkers’ wives are professionals. Even the CEO of my company’s wife is an engineer too. I mean yes, some wives do take a couple of years off when the kids are tiny. But my whole life I’ve knows so many high value men, I don’t know a single one who doesn’t value education.

Just my two cents.

They want the best "deal" for themselves and their daughters. They don't want an educated woman that doesn't need to rely on him and could easily leave him. They also don't want their daughters to be trapped and stuck.

I don't know about RP fathers, but my dad was very traditional and straight up told me when I was young that he had much lower expectations for me than my brother.

But when my grades shot up, my career was going well, and worked for a very prestigious company, he did a complete 180 and was my #1 cheerleader. He couldn't shut up about my career anytime he talked to people and you can just see it in his face and now giggly he is whenever I have career related good news. He had lower expectations for girls, but holy did he love it when I exceeded all expectations.

Dads want the best for their daughters without any distractions. They don't have any worry that their daughter will get too strong and leave them. They don't worry that their daughters becoming strong will make her not admire or thinking highly of him anymore.

My mom also had a strong career. Most self confident men I know, including my dad looked for similar things in a wife too, because at the end of the day he respected and admired that. But I think when men either don't care or prefer a women with less education/career prospects, it isn't because they actually admire or like that, it's because their need for security or desire to bring unique value in the relationship is more important to them personally. I don't think that's terrible to be honest, you can't expect everyone to be 100% secure, some level of insecurity is normal for everyone. Wanting to being unique value to the table is not a bad thing by itself.

On the one hand, the daughter question always seems to expose what kind of life men genuinely think is beneficial to the average woman rather than what’s beneficial to his penis.

But on the other hand, it’s the same old philosophy of “I got mine.” Is it hypocritical to want to marry a virgin after adding to the n-counts of as many women as possible? Doesn’t matter, I got mine. Is it hypocritical to tell women to wife up at 18 while I want my daughter to be educated and have a career? Doesn’t matter, I got mine.

My dad never finished high school but spent 30 years building skyscrapers,stadiums, and big city projects. He wouldn't self identify as red pill (he doesn't use internet lol) but honestly he definitely fits the bill.

As his only child he gave me the best education he could and even though I wasn't interested in university/college he paid for and pushed for me to do sports, learn trades, and essentially become more self sufficient. Hes candid and raw about biological reality and yet still discourages me from marrying and having children young. I'm 26 and no kids/single. Hes ok with not becoming a grandfather.

Every father want to have something to be proud, so of course they will tell those things.

Also where's the contradiction? Just because a men do not care about a women career don't means she should not persue one, those things just do not enter in her smv equation. If the girls were raised thinking that a career would gave her better chances with top% men then yes, it would be a contradiction.

In the end you can only raise well your kid and hopes that the world don't ruin it.

It's not even contradictory, the point is usually expressed that degrees and making money are great things for the woman...... it just doesn't help with dating. Even the negatives that accompany these things can generally be avoided with the right mindset. (KS even would mention how college use to be a great place to find a husband, he did talk against a woman that's trying to be a stay at home mom racking up debt though)

I think this point is kind of goofy if it’s not framed correctly.

In 2023, the reality of a SAHM is low. Most households have to be dual income. A college education does matter in the correct field. However, this does not change the tenet that it’s better to get with a woman with a job as opposed to a career. And yes, the phrasing matters.

As a red pill father of daughters, I can promise you that it's hard to be harsh with your princesses. Eventually I will talk with them about the realities of dating, but that is thankfully far off for now. Even then, all I can do is explain reality to them and guide them. They will eventually be adults who make their own choices and mistakes.

Context here is pivotal. For sex? It doesn’t. For a relationship? Hinges on compatibility. I dated enough doctors, and lawyers, to know how stressed, and pressured those careers leave people. Plus if a man’s financially comfortable, what she does financially, has even less bearing.

Not just red pill fathers, with any close relatives it is common to see one sex flip to the optimal strategy of the opposite sex. This is due to close relatives sharing DNA and making such behavior fitness maximizing. Examples include:

Playboy brother engaging in sexual gatekeeping with his sister / encouraging her to be sexually conservative, etc.
A mother telling her son not to get married too soon, go "have some fun" first, etc.

There's endless examples of this. Has nothing to do with RP ideology bur rather innate biology.

The redpill is aware that it is unlikely your daughter will not be a whore at some point, and it is likely she will be a divorcee and have children with multiple men, and they cannot fully stop it. He can only try to provide and defend her the best he can until she gets a good man, but he knows that this is an age of promiscuity and rebellion, so it is likely she will do evil anyway.

Every father wants the best men for their daughters, but of course what women consider the best men is not what men consider the best men. Women only see a few features in men that men know are not that valuable for a good relationship.

People always want the best deal for their own family, and that is not hypocritical, that is self interest and it is OK. Feminist women don't want their daughters to marry feminist weak men either that are too emotional and weak, althought that is what they provmote. At least the redpill is more aware and realistic on this and it knows you cannot always win.

Here’s how I see it as a father with a daughter and it goes the same for other women which is probably a friggin shocker. I don’t care what career you do. As long as you (Her) aren’t in the sex industry, I don’t care. I’ll cheer you on because I have a heart but in reality that’s my only stipulation. If she has a degree cool, that means we might have an intellectual based discussion from time to time, if she doesn’t have a degree, cool. I would like my daughter (also other women) to be a fully functional adults so when I eventually pass away, she doesn’t need to rely on me or she falls apart.

Not necessarily. Sexual attraction is different from our non-sexual ideals and is largely involuntary. One is not racist for not being sexually attracted to certain races for example.

The hypocrisy comes when RPers criticize highly educated career women then encourage their daughters to be highly educated career women.
