This is called making your necessity a virtue. Women do this all the time.

They are taking the position of the defender of young women and the arbiter of truth so they can appear virtuous. The reality is they are losing in the sexual marketplace and want men to feel bad for finding younger women attractive. They need to take this position but want to act like it's virtuous.

There is nothing wrong with it. Many age gap relationships are healthy just the same as age appropriate relationships.

As far as substandard treatment, that's projecting one possible situation on every situation. Some men might do this, but we need to believe that all men are trash to think it's all men that are doing this.

So, in their 30s and 40s, women are much more likely to have baggage than men are (especially in their 30s). A woman is much more likely to have an ex-husband or children that the man has to deal with. Much more so than a woman of the same age will find men in the same situation.

Of course men in their 30s look for women younger than 30. Nearly 1/4th of single women have been divorced already by 35. Men aren’t required to spend inordinate amounts of time sifting through 30s women who haven’t already been divorced once; not to mention all the single mothers who were never married but have children. That stat isn’t factored into the previous stats at all, so the numbers are even worse than the ones I cited.

Men are not required to settle for that kind of baggage.

I'm a woman, only ever been with one guy, but from what I've heard listening to podcasts like "dating talk" the women who sleep around or treat sex like it's no big deal lose enjoyment and that connection. I think sex is meant to be enjoyed and if you're a man or woman whose just throwing it around and not saving it for someone you have a deep emotional connection to, you lose that ability because it loses its meaning.

I think there's a difference between 'young' and 'pure', and putting these two things together is similar to saying 'sharks and kittens kill people every year'. These are two very different things.

There's also the the problem of both those terms 'young' and 'pure' being incredibly subjective. If a 32 year old man wants to date a 25 year old girl, I would consider her 'younger' but not necessarily 'young'. Someone else might feel differently, and feel that the first digit of your ages has to match up. So 'young' has no real bearing without more context.

And 'pure'... what the hell does that even mean? If it's 'virgin', say virgin, if it's 'nice' say nice.

But by themselves, with no context, young and pure have no inherent meaning, it's just a way to draw in the viewers

As a 35 year old man in a LTR, if I were single I'd have some stipulations.

Wanting a virgin at my age is weird. You've got to expect women in their 20s and 30s to have experience.

But what you don't want is a ran-through 304 who all your mates have been with already.

Thought experiment, is a person more moldable and adaptable when they're young and inexperienced, or when they're older?

Fact of the matter is, not only do all men want younger women by the studies due to biology, but people in general are simply more adaptable younger.

- Females will be more fertile younger

- Because of that they'll also have more energy which is definitely relevant when you're taking care of kids, easier to bounce back from pregnancies, body problems and sleep deprivation that will inevitably occur from childrearing.

As for the manipulation, all of the sex and reproduction game is manipulation, but that game, as you can tell, is not a fair and equitable game inherently, so what does it really matter? My take is pretty simple.

If you've ever been an averagely attractive man young women aggressively pursue older men, from crushing on them to busting each others balls about it just like guys do. I used to work with a group of 22 year olds and my older coworker, early 30's and I use to have a closer relationship just due to psychological difference in growth.

I'd hear them flip out and be like wtf was that? She'd be like "either a dog outside or a hot guy came in" lmao.

As an early 30's dude when I was dating I would swipe on proximity on apps ages 18-99, and the majority of my matches would be between 18-25. Not datable mind you, but just young women being explorative and wanting to test waters.

I am a man who successfully dates women without issues, but not an MRA. Just personally more concerned about this whole class warfare thing where a minority of wealth fetishists are destroying out literal habitat. But I assume you want a sincere answer from somebody who’s not going to lie to you. Age does not indicate purity, it only indicates emotional and physical maturity. While it’s true physical maturity is a social virtue, emotional maturity is not. People grow in developmental cycles. As somebody who’s dated younger women before, that is largely what the issue is. You’re just usually at different stages in life. Younger people are in a transitional stage of life, they’re growing and learning, they’re excited by change and experiencing new things. Getting locked into serious relationships, is usually not high on the areas of interest. Getting locked into a relationship with dudes who lack the self awareness to see them holistically as actual individuals, probably even further from their interests. So I guess it depends on the end goal. If you want a stable relationship with an actual woman, probably best to stick within at least one generation either side of your age group, you’ll have more in common, and hopefully both have similar levels of emotional maturity. My first thought on men who want to date younger women is that they’re likely emotionally immature and they’re worried someone their own age won’t put up with their bullshit, not saying I’m right, that’s just my immediate emotional reaction. I think the issue is those creeps paint the picture for everyone else with more innocent desires. As a woman I've had to vet a lot of people in terms of how they treat me and if it's because they view me as a "pure young woman" or not. The fact is the majority of men probably mean they want someone that is physically attractive and stereotypically feminine, which is attributed to purity. Purity however is a concept, not a reality within humans. How would one even measure purity? It differs from person to person based on personal beliefs. When you look at it this way it's not creepy. A guy, that wants a girl that shows she understands & respects her value to men and shows she doesn't make poor choices that indicate she would be more likely be a risk to that man, just wants to mistreat her.....gaslighting to fight off accountability is what I'd think of that statement.
