If you are not financially. emotionally and mentally stable, with your life mostly figured out, you should not be having sex. If you live in parents basement, have no sufficient source of in come for yourself and no path in life, you have nothing to offer and need therapy and skills training, not sex. Sex is a privilege that you have to earn, not an entitlement.

Definitely porn related (Pornhub was released in 2008) but I also think general smartphone/social media addiction have played a massive role. The difference between the genders here is that women tend to use social media to WIDEN their circles, while men tend to isolate themselves even further and are naturally more irresponsible and reckless when dealing with addictions.

I think it is not right to call all these men in the survey "incels". They're under 30 and reporting no sex partners at least since 18, but some of them may still be close to 18, for one. Even if they're feeling lonely and would like to date and have a partner, it's still not the same as incels, a label which takes specific attitudes and a specific type of broad entitlement and resentment of women.

I'm between 20 and 30 and haven't slept with anyone since I was under the age of 18, but that doesn't make me a female incel either.
