the loving husband trope like Gomez Addams is my weakness 😌pretty much every character that fits that trope is the ideal spouse to me lmao.

if i had to pick just one male character in the anime/cartoon realm it would be Kakashi Hatake from Naruto. umm, obsessed and our personalities align like exactly (what i like/admire about him as a character and his flaws that kind of align with me: his tragic backstory with his friends and loss of his parents at an early age leading him to depression and self esteem issues; I am inexplicably attracted to sad boys, how he values comradery and loyalty but kind of 😃couldn't do much about that, how guarded he is but soft and protective over his students, how he's lowkey lazy and not the best teacher but he never was cocky about it in the first place, how absolutely skilled and hard working he is, his supposed voluntary celibacy, his procrastination and late habits LMAO so relatable, his proper leadership as Hokage, his PACK OF NINJA DOGS, and how adorable his personality can be like his obsession with smut books b/c yeah, written porn >>>).

there are other fictional characters from movies/TV shows/books that i'd consider an ideal spouse as well, but i think certain tropes would encapsulate what i like better (kind of influences my type irl).

edit looking back over this again: Zuko was my first crush ever and if i ever.. ever met a man as awkward as him, with character development like his.... it's over for me.

The main character from "About time" film even if he couldn't time travel. He's overall genuinely attractive person, faithful, stable, attentive, gentle, family oriented, cares about his partner, good to others. Also his father who has pretty much the same traits and he's also a bookworm and a great parent.

As a kid I liked Wolf from "The 10th Kingdom". He's affectionate, kind, brave, attentive, patient...Too assertive for my liking now, but he did his best and really did some self-improvement.

All the fictional people I like would have to act out of character to be the perfect partner.

I am really struggling to come up with a perfect fictional husband. People rarely write men like that.

I really liked Jon Snow. But his character was never really shown as happy. So he'd be a brooding husband with the drive to be a hero and never enjoy the simple things.

I would choose Tali'Zorah from the Mass Effect series. She's with your team in all three games and sacrifices a lot to help you. In the first one, she joins up with you even though it means putting her Pilgrimage, an important rite of passage for her people, on hold. Though you can help her with that Pilgrimage at one point. In game 2, she helps you again even when it means working with the organization Cerberus and a robotic Geth, both enemies of her people. She's intelligent, loyal, honest, and she's beautiful with a great ass, legs, and hips. To top it all off, she's heavily implied to be either bisexual or at least bicurious, something I personally find very attractive.

Li Xingke from Code Geass. Stoic, intelligent, honorable, devoted to the people he cares about. Also the long hair bishounen types really do it for me. I even had the biggest crush on him when I first watched the show around 13/14 years old. It's so weird as your age begins to catch up with (or even pass) a character you were obsessed with as a kid.

My ideal fictional spouse exists only in my imagination, no TV show or movie has ever come close. My ideal woman is someone who can understand that I am very capable of having sex with other women but she would be the only one who has my devotion.

The perfect woman, at least for me, would be one who understands and accepts that I will always want to have sex with other girls and that this doesn't mean that I don't love her or that I am not devoted or committed to her. This is something I think all women need to understand.
