I'll get downvoted for this, but this is not pussy pass denied. With the exception of domestic violence and custody cases oh, the courts don't show any kind of preference to females.

Not to mention, 2 to 20 years in prison is excessive, there's a difference between licking ice cream, and putting poison in over-the-counter medicine. What she did was wrong, and she absolutely deserves to be punished, but prison time is a little bit extreme for the offense. I definitely believe she deserves Active Jail time, followed by a period of probation, but prison is a little bit too much.

This is just an attempt to make an example of her, and personally I find making an example of someone in such an extreme way, in order to prevent other people from following in the offender's footsteps to be unfair.

I live in South Texas where Blue Bell is very SPECIAL. A few years ago the news ran a story about a young woman taking advantage of a flood situation in a nearby city where Blue Bell was unavailable. She was running half-gallon containers of Blue Bell from City A to City B, and charging $25.00 each for them and people were paying it. (Normally about $7.00) High quality ice cream. Don't be surprised of Blue Bell doesn't also go after her in civil court for multimillions in damages. No it doesn't matter if she doesn't have it.
