The only reason it’s seen as ‘basic’ is because majority of people get it, and a large part of the majority is typically women. It’s not misogyny, it’s simply known as the norm. Basic can be linked to normality. Normality can be linked to what many people do. If many people get that coffee flavor, it is basic.
