But I can’t help but think that if a woman posted on here, that she was encouraged at 22 to have sex with her married 40+ neighbour and she allowed him to finish inside her, and she found out he just wanted to get her pregnant, she’d be absolutely torn to shreds.

I'm finding it hard to have much sympathy. No actual child was produced and you had lots of the sex you thought you wanted. It's like a near miss on the road while learning to drive. And now you know...that working out if someone is fit to have sex with is a complicated matter and you need to take care.
