Cold approach beats everything because guys don't do it and are afraid of rejection simple as that. Women never approach so you have the advantage of choosing who you want to meet. You build that skill WHILE working on your career, style..etc you will be a unstoppable force.

I had girls tell me in my face that I am not attractive/tall enough to date them. That I may be a great guy or I had great personality or made them feel that really special something. But I was not externally attracted to me so nothing intimate could happen. The first few times, I thought game-over and got hurt and I was like "oh.... OK... I see :( ". Then I learnt that it was just another type of shit-test, and starting passing it with flying colors. No girl would agree to go out with me only to tell me that she wouldn't fuck me because I was ugly. They did wanna fuck, they just wanted to put me through one final test. What I want to say is that I would absolutely get None of these girls (not even a date) if I met them on dating apps and they saw only pictures of me.

It reminds me of a study posted on this sub when I searched about tinder. With the abstract roughly saying

"the bottom 80% of men (in attractiveness) are competing for the bottom 20% of women and the top 80% of women are competing for the top 20% of men."

To me, cold approach is easy if girl is doing something, but if I see a girl walking my direction I have like 3-5 seconds to stop her and talk to her. Don't know how to start so it does seem natural

from my perspective tight text game + dhv photos are creme de la creme of social networks (fb, ig, tinder, bumble etc) its time consuming but the rewards are awesome too.

Ask most long term couples how they met (i.e. great way to start a converstation) i bet you 80-90% will say at an event, bar, work, social meeting, via friends, most were "cold-approaches" or "social circles" almost none LTR that really last were done through "online dating" let alone through tinder, bumble or any of these lame match-making services. They're there to explicitly serve the girl so she can get laid/get what she wants. The funny part is most girls DONT EVEN PAY FOR THEM. It's all the MEN who pay for these apps to "boost there profile" "Send Priority message"

A girl friend of mine, who I didn't find attractive and we stayed as friends, never used online dating, she's 39 and is getting a divorce with 2 kids. She created her first OKCupid Profile and told me within 1 day she had over 100 likes. I laughed when she told me about this, I said to her, "Yep that's how it works!"

I Still think there's a point in doing online dating, because it helps create an abundance mindset and for those living in smaller cities/rural areas but the quality of the women you'll find will always be lackluster.

You're not wrong exactly, but OLDating is a facet of seduction that requires a different skill set. I was better at cold approach than I was at OLD and I didn't understand it at first. After working at it, I made huge progress, going from no matches to plenty. Then going from no responses to plenty. Then going from no dates to plenty. There was a ladder to climb with each level presenting different difficulties.

I was already good at face to face interactions though, so once I moved to that, I was in my element. Face to face interaction does "level the playing field", but it's more like, "online dating alienates reality".

Once you become aware of that alienation, you can swing the odds back into your favor, by applying all of your face to face skills to your OLD. You have to look at it as if you're trying to accomplish all the same things you easily and naturally do in person, but online instead. You have to display your value, your humor, your vulnerability, you have to display all of your "reality" somehow, but in an environment that alienates reality.

When you do it, you shoot up to the "top 5% of men", because the majority of men cannot do that. So all you have to do is not do what the majority are doing.

I've been on so many dates where women show me the differences other men are doing and it's a riot, because here I am with her in person, seeing hundreds of messages from dudes saying the same kinds of things I used to years ago. We just don't know any better.

It’s true man. Most old IC RSD guys I know switch over to online cuz it’s easier and it doesn’t hurt your ego. But cold approach let me date girls I would have never thought I could get. Mind you, I’m a good looking guy, but even so, online was just a lot of matches that don’t go anywhere with girls I’m only somewhat interested in. Daytime I was able to meet absolute stunners, and have them be super into me with minimal game. Professional girls, dressed on point, big tities, have them tell me they love me, and that they never had it that good. I even had girls take me out for ball games, offer to pay for me at steak houses, etc. In person game is powerful and gets you a lot of girls that aren’t on dating apps.

Keep in mind guys, the ratio of girls to guys online is 1-9. You are facing a lot of competition for scarce resourses. However, only about a third of the population is on online apps. That means 67% of girls you see in the world, you will never meet online. And how many guys really have the balls the approach a girl while she’s out and about in a cool and charismatic way ? I’d wager not that many. Certainly not most guys. So go out and grab the bull by the horns.

Never tried tinder because I know for a fact that anything online stinks.

Why? Because you have to go through so many more hoops to get laid.

In-person it’s meet, text, date 1, date 2, fuck.

Online it’s soooo much longer it’s swipe, match, text in app, move to another messaging, call, date, fuck. Women also have so much more power and a lot of reason to not meet since they are getting a lot of validation already.

In-person you just have to deal with rejection and it gets tid of all the disadvantages of online. Online is for pussies.

Totally agree. And the power of cold approach is that you’re risky rejection. Take a simple opener like “Hey I saw you and thought you looked beautiful, how’s it going?” If you said this on tinder to a beautiful women, it would be 1 in a thousand messages to her. In the middle of a crowded coffee shop, you’re the guy that has the balls to separate himself form the crowd and go for what he wants. Same line, completely different context.

I think even if you take away all of the factors working against average guys in online dating, it’s just a matter of upside potential. Your upside is limited online - to people using the app or site - whereas in the public square your upside is almost limitless.

I have to disagree... Approaching people is trying to get something from them which will be lose-lose in the long run and shallow which leads to depression and sociopathic traits, so not exactly leveling the playing field. ( take a look at RSD Jeffy that fool is like 45 years old or John Anthony lol)

Also not to mention it can bring health problems such as drinking or eating shitty. I knew a few guys who ended up on hard drugs from doing approaching both day and night "game". Why not find something you love such as yoga, or juicing and go to a bunch of classes/meetups instead? You can still talk to a ton of people that all have something in common.

Be 100% honest with your self on what you want long term. Would you rather date one of those bimbos that Michael Sartain hangs out with and gives you shit and drama all the time also all coked up or would you rather want someone who studies, eats healthy and wants to start a business or help you get promotions? What do you really get out of screwing bimbos besides validation of ego and maybe STD?

Btw I met my girlfriend from Instagram because I was interested in this event asked her to dinner at the event. Never really did cold approach per se but I witness many guys from different boot camps approaching left and right for years and even became friends/working with a few famous companies and I'm pretty sure you could figure it out since I said Michael Sartain. Some of these guys I have known since 2014-2015 and most still live at home, on drugs, depressed or straight-up sociopathic. Even guys like RSD Julien met his wife at an event, not from PUA or "Cold Approach".

Best, I'm not here to bash you just trying to bring in my experience and truth from 2015 -2018 and all the things no one talks about such as mental health. Like I said around 85% of guys who still do cold approach from 2016ish are all low lives or worst they don't have any friends.

I hope you find happiness man just beware of getting stuck on validation alone.

I am a 31F and I have to say... I am seeing a lot of very poor advice on here.

Women being nice in no way means she wants to fuck.

I get approached by men ~5-10x a week, despite working from home 4 days a week. I do not social media outside of Reddit due to aggressive male behavior and stalking.

I have had MANY men confuse basic conversation as flirting, and they get it in their heads that there is somehow hope in the future of sexual interaction or dating despite the fact that I talk about my significant other constantly. I have been in no way interested and it has led to embarrassment/uncomfortable situations ON THE REGULAR throughout my life.

The moral is, just don’t be a predator. Use your brain and make logical decisions. Don’t rely on “hints” that don’t exist.
