Reddit usually has all opinions represented. It's the upvotes that give you a meter of what people think. I've been in the boat of being banned or having my comment removed because the mods didn't like what I was saying. You feel hurt, betrayed and excluded from the conversation. That sucks for everyone as you become radicalized in your thinking and start seeing sides where there are none. Instead, if you're simply downvoted, you are still a part of the conversation and usually have a number of people tell you why it is that you're wrong.

Then you have the 'slippery slope' aspect of it. When you start banning for toxic comments, it allows you to start banning based on disagreeable comments as well. The mods start overly pruning the subreddit, stifling it and often leading the sub down the wrong path. Some subs go so far as to automatically ban comments from users active on historically incompatible subs.

So I'm of the opinion that you ban as a last resort, keep the sub open and openly discuss with the more bitter element to change their views and open them up to what we're doing.

Because I really want to stress that money and status are the same yet completely different at the same time. Money, like your job or some position of power, is something that is objective as it is measurable in scale. While having that objective status is nice it is not what will keep a girl genuinely interested in you. That's where social status comes into play which is 100000x more important than your objective status because it's what will keep a girl interested in you. And I promise you no girl wants to fuck a guy who believes he has "little to offer women." Some of the best pickup artists out there look like a discount Austin Powers. They're living off the streets but they have confidence in themselves to know women want them and that's all that really matters.

One of my good friends is autistic and has a lovely girlfriend and a child. She is beautiful soul inside and out and he’s a all around rad guy with a fun personality who embraces that side of himself.

That person who made that comment is a Scumbag, that kind of attitude won’t get him far other than with people who have that same mindset-(which unfortunately for shitface isn’t a lot of people)

But dude I want to help you address this feeling of inadequacy that brought you here in the first place.

EVERYONE has value, yes even the lowest person of the low brings something to the table. The trick is finding it within yourself and loving yourself (cliches I know, but hear me out).

For me I think I started loving myself when I saw who I wanted to become and I started making progress towards being that person. (We will never be 100% who we imagined ourselves to be, therefore rejoice in the small steps along the way...) Perhaps the same may work for you, my friend?

And lastly yes, autism is autism. But plenty of autistic people get married and live loving relationships ( conversely plenty of normal people don’t get married/don’t have loving relationships). Life is what you make it and love is a deep understanding of the other person that you develop. Autism doesn’t have to mean that you die “forever alone.” Develop that understanding with someone and enjoy it.

Anyways that’s my 1am advice. Fuck whoever wrote that advice to you in the first place and I hope you have an amazing life :)

They are a lot of trolls, but that guy's comment is probably the realest comment you will get on this sub, I use to not give a fuck, but the truth is, if you want to improve, you'll need comments like that. From what I see, he made a very strong point, people don't care if you are austistic or not, and if you have no prospect, this is a mindset that you will have to change about yourself. If that is the mindset you have going into anything, you're going to only look down on yourself.
