It's misandry wrapped by " logic " . Women trying to hate on men by making it logical and using simps and pick me men to push a culture where hate is " understandable " when a woman do it . This is like a war where the country with the victim history has the right to attack every country they hate but if those countries react or try to attack back they are reminded of how oppressive they were .

Weak men are a weight on modern men that should be thrown away or atleast put on the side like women did to pick me women .

A culture were people are punishing men for what a minority of men from old generations done just prove how much women hate men and how much men were right when teaching there sons to be strong cause no one in reality gonna protect you .

When you control for encounter rates, there's an order of magnitude or more danger with the bear than with the man.

This is probably getting too technical for this conversation but…

Is an infant exposed to bears at an equal rate as its mother?

Is a teenage boy exposed to bears at an equal rate as he’s exposed to female teachers?

Is a pregnant woman as likely to be alone in the woods with a bear as she is to visit a hospital?

Where do I spend more time- alone in the woods with a bear or alone at home in my shower?

If you don’t adjust for any of that then everything you’ve just said is silly.

I think one thing that’s never cleared up with this whole debate is are you simply in a forest with many bears present? or are you and a bear both simultaneously spawned into the forest?

The former is relatively safe, as usually bears don’t associate with humans unless they feel provoked or if their cubs are in potential danger. The latter is far more dangerous though, because the lost and confused bear might lash out and that could be deadly.

Of course, it also depends on the kind of bears - black bears are relatively harmless and will at worst injure you, grizzly and polar bears are far more deadly if provoked.

So if the question was “would you, as a person, but stuck in the woods alone in the presence bears or strangers” - i’d probably say bears because more often than not said bear is not provoked. But the question as presented most times implies that you’re either randomly spawned into the woods with a bear or human, so both are new to said woods. In this scenario, the bear is more dangerous than the human.

That's essentially what this question was in the original video. These games are not intended to produce clever, mapped out, nuanced answers. It's intended for laughs and maybe a few seconds of "why did you choose that" before moving on to the next person. You might think it's crazy and pretty funny that your friend who hates cabbages chooses torture at gitmo over eating cabbages. You might also doubt they would actually choose gitmo over cabbages. But it's a stupid game and nobody is losing sleep over it.

The fact that this question has stirred up so much drama is insane to me.

People just like to be offended at things, and it seems that certain men, particularly on this sub, have got their panties in a twist over it.

At most all it's showing that we make women culturally fear bears more than men as they here and see more stories of male violence because there is more violence than to bears. We don't need to say to women don't go to that par tof town at night as we don't have a bear prone area. It's not that deep.

Not one of my friends have said a bear raped me. Three have had a man rape them, though, so in my area, bears are three times less likely to rape than men.

It. Is. Not. A. Personal. Attack. On. Men.

You are the one on a personal quest to be clever. Married women, single women, younger women, men with daughters are all having the same dilemma weighing the odds. Coming to the conclusion that we’d rather subject ourselves to a possibly fatal attack over dying by the hand of a man is not to be clever, it’s a personal preference.

It should open your eyes to the fear women live with, being the physically smaller and weaker gender but you guys are the ones trying to be clever and making it way bigger issue than it is and d r a g g i n g it on for so long. The majority of people I see talk about this are men complaining, men trying to make other men understand, and men throwing all these added elements to the original question. Or women making memes because it’s just funny to us now.

It’s not a gender war and women aren’t saying it because we hate men. We’re not saying all men are bad. We’re not saying all men are rapists. It’s literally down to a personal preference for our death. The bear is not guaranteed to attack and neither is the man but if one were trying, we’d take our chances with the bear because if a man were out to kill you, he could make you suffer the most heinous and unimaginable forms of torture for hours for no reason at all. A bear can do one thing and that’s attack and eat you which would be a quicker death.

You can’t assume you know how women feel because you’d rather choose another person. As a man, you see most opponents as a fair fight and two men put together will fight until one dies. Women won’t be able to fight at all. We are just as helpless with men as with a bear. It’s not about you but you’re taking it SO personally and getting so angry about it for what?

If you don’t agree with us, cool. But you can’t assume you know more about a woman’s stance and reasonings than they do when you’ve never lived as a biological woman.
