I don't believe women are a hive mind but I think women and men are pretty close in deviancy but women are (largely) just more covert about it. Their lack of physical strength and size also prevents them from acting out on the more violent impulses e.g. it's simply quite hard for an average sized woman to find a man weak enough that she could beat up, or hold down and actually rape. That's why women are more likely to abuse the elderly and children. If women were equal to adult men in size and strength things would be a different story. Keep in mind that already when women act violent they are less likely to get reported and sentenced for it so the statistics don't quite reflect their true capability.

Nah you can argue that, because women can be the same thing at the same time. Women can be feminists when it benefits them and on the other hand they can be the victim whenever it benefits them. However if we gonna describe conformity, I would say its true, women blindly follow what other women do. They start to get attracted to the same guy when most women starts to become attracted to him, same with elections, same with thoughts, same with nearly everything.

However for sexuality and relationship dynamic is a bit different, for sexuality and relationship dynamic women tend to be selfish and independent of others opinion. If 99 women on line doesnt want to use their partner for financial gain, and the last woman have a desire to extract resource from men, she wont give af what other women thinks. And she will gaslight and abuse him till his last money. For cheating, I would say its dependant on society.

For example in the west, its acceptable for anyone to cheat, thats why women want to explore her options and they do it frequently. However if you go to the east to a Muslim country, its forbidden tp cheat, if you get caught you are killed. Thats why you cant be selfish there and you have to think of society. But if they really got the chance to be sexually free, they would do the same, by fucking multiple guys.

It's an interesting point I'm not sure I agree that women are eithe of those things but I'd say that being conformist isn't a sign of low inteligence and being manipulative isnt a sign of high intelligence. I mean look at society in general are people who conform less intelligent and successful than those who do weird crazy stuff? And are people who are high on the narcissism, machiavellianism, and psychopathy spectrum the most intelligent people?

You’re absolutely right to point out the contradiction.

If women are dismissed as hyper-conformist, then it logically follows that social deviance, especially things like sexual aggression or criminal behavior should statistically appear more in non-conformist demographics.

If we’re going to paint women as followers, then we also need to acknowledge who’s leading, especially when it’s toward harm or antisocial behavior.

Either women are equally deviant and equally independent or they’re not.

But picking and choosing whichever frame makes women look worse isn’t a truth-seeking position. It’s an ego-protecting one.

You have a good argument - both the greater male variability hypothesis and the fact men are found to have more paraphilias than women on average back you up in some way.

That said, you're package-dealing all kinds of "deviance" into one thing here, but someone can be very normal in certain ways and very atypical in others. You're also ignoring socio-cultural effects, like the possibility women are being culturally encouraged to sexually let their freak flags fly (and, ironically, women going along with that idea due to its social prevalence) but not necessarily to express their atypicalities in other areas.

As a woman I see exactly what you’re saying here but ( and this is off topic) do get frustrated with both sides of the coin in both men and women. Men actually seem to prefer conformity in women and women are punished by both other women and men for not fitting in appropriately. I’ve never conformed to anything as it’s suggested or prescribed and despite me being very friendly and considerate I get no invitations to come hang out with the girls because I don’t respect or care about invisible hierarchies or laying on thick smears of unnecessary emotional encouragement all the damn time or conforming to aesthetic standards.

Men are conformists but in different ways. They rarely question hierarchy, often praise it, and expect their women to behave to a certain standard, especially sexually. How is that not a conformist expectation? Most men appreciate me until I make too many crass jokes. Then I’m “unsettling” as a small example. They also tend to start really disliking me as soon as I show them I can be just as assertive and aggressive as them and feel zero shame about it.

I believe women are more conformist because we’d be lonely if we weren’t, I know I am, but I also refuse to trade my authenticity for comfort or even safety. Men use their individualism as an excuse to lack empathy because they’re emotionally lazy since parents don’t hold sons to task for it and then can’t ,for the life of them, understand why they’re lonely.

So anyway, as usual men have a number of directly conflicting beliefs about women because it’s much easier to pigeonhole us incorrectly than it is to admit we’re as human and nuanced as they are.

The word "deviant" is confusing you. A more apt term in this context is "unproductive". Women all uniformly have stronger unproductive desires than men. Right now the female hivemind in the developed world is screaming at women to ride the cock carousel as long as possible, read extremely weird monster erotica, focus on some non-essential email job, and avoid starting a family at all costs. And statistically women are conforming in these ways. Last I checked Twilight was still one of the best-selling books of all time; that seems pretty unproductively conformist to me.

Obviously women who are autistic or don't have many friends are less likely to be part of the hivemind. The higher rates of autism in men and the growing male loneliness crisis certainly contribute to men being, on average, less vulnerable to groupthink than women are. But I subscribe to the greater male variability theory which fits nicely with the idea that men are biologically less suited to conforming.

You don't need to be a deviant for your behavior to be extreme because what's socially acceptable for your sex can be extreme. It's very possible that women are conforming to degenerate standards and generally pushing what's socially acceptable(for a woman) towards a more and more extreme position.(the hard turn women took towards the left would be a relatively tame example of it)

The first thing you talked about was sexual assault so I'll use that as an example. What's socially acceptable for a man and what's socially acceptable for a woman are extremely different and a lot of male deviants would be considered conformists if they were women.

At the same time, any time the other side of that non-conformity is stated - like men over-indexing in deviancy, the very opposite of conformity - men rush to explain and equivocate how women are just as bad. Women sexually assault and rape as much as men do, or more. Women cheat as much as men do, or more. Women abuse as much as men do, or more.

Women rape, assault, cheat, and abuse much more than most women believe. And as a guy with memory spanning longer than that of a goldfish, I remember that this argument was circulated around 10 years ago specifically in response to feminist women's claims that rape, assault, abuse, and sexual infidelity are weapons that men's patriarchal collective uses to flex their patriarchal power over women. If even 1/6 of rapes are committed by women against men, and rape is the weapon of patriarchal control and dominance, it means that 1/6 of rapists are women patriarchally controlling and dominating men. Which means "the patriarchy" isn't, and cannot be, a hierarchy of power based on gender.
