Nah, that's not really true. Plenty of women make it very clear they don't enjoy attention from men they aren't attracted to.

You're acting as though men only care about the success rate, but the reaction and the success rate are linked. If a man expects rejection and knows some women react negatively to unwanted attention, that's obviously going to affect whether he approaches.

So I agree the low success rate is a major factor. I just don't buy the claim that concern about negative reactions plays no role at all. That seems pretty disconnected from reality.

Both of those things have happened to me.

That’s even assuming your friend group is even willing to help you. My friends had no issues setting one of their other friends up with someone. Yet when it came to doing it for me, it was crickets/silence from them.

I always hated cold approach. Somehow men have this magical ability to pick the day you feel your worst, look your worst, and have the most going on to try to chat you up at the grocery store or the dollar store or a book store.

I have so, so much more success cold approaching than swiping its not even a competition.

Apps should be your candy crush while on the throne, not the thing you do every second of your free time thinking youll hit the big leagues one day. Its a time waster thatll get your dick wet once on a while.

most of Gen Z doesn’t approach becausr they lack the social skills needed to pull it off and/ir they don’t want to risk getting rejected .. too much discomfort for them

I still say guys should go out as often as they can and if they spot a woman they find attractive or one that sends them signals of interest - approach her and talk. plus use your social circle and dating apps

There is a lot that goes into this. First off, some women like being approached, some hate it with a burning passion. Second, the social acceptability of making an approach is highly context dependent—there's a big difference between trying it at a bar and trying it at the DMV. Third, it is almost certainly true that your attractiveness level influences how likely you are to receive a positive or negative reaction. It is just as certainly true that your skill level will have a huge influence. Most terrible reactions are, in fact, skill issues.

why are average men losers? and how do they get laid by being losers?

i feel like this post focuses so much on sex and casual sex that yea, males as a whole struggle getting that outside of relationships and dating probably because more men want that than women.

but when it comes to relationships there's nothing wrong with friends turned to lovers relationships, in fact it's much more common and easier than getting a relationship through cold approaches.

If you are capable of success through cold approaching, you can just use apps

Tl;dr have some sort of experience kissing women on apps before cold approaching and they should feel like the same concept

You can leave anybody at any moment, nothing will stop you. You're supposed to stop caring what others will think about you at that age. You can significantly increase your chances by doing cold approach in right places and in right time, looking for signal that girl won't be against it. You can send your own signals of interest and check reaction. Approaching small group is easier than approaching just one single girl. I had more success with cold approach than on any app.

I think the whole cold approach thing is meant to get men more comfortable with women by walking through their own discomfort. It will not get you dates, it will get you rejected, but it will make you more self-confident. If you view it as an exercise to improve confidence, you will also not feel rejection in the same way.
It has to be in real life though.

And usually the best way to do that is actually getting to know them first.
