If by Chad you mean a man who has had a lot of casual sex, then I am close friends with a couple. Both are charming, confident, teasing, heavy drinkers, outgoing, around 5'7. Both are cute, but one is really handsome. We were at a bar once when a guy asked to take his photo because his eyes were so blue.

The reason they get laid so often (or used to - one has settled down) is because sex is not the end goal when they go out. Having fun is, and that's very appealing to women. If you look like you're having a great time, people want to join you. They make the night exciting. And because they're the life of the party, women feel like they've won a prize when they take him home at the end of the night.

Being surrounded by heavy drinkers doesn't hurt. If you want to get laid, you'd better learn how to party.

I think my brother would be considered a "Chad", because he's probably close to a triple digit n count. He's exceptionally charming and fucking hilarious, everyone loves him. He is not, however, exceptionally good looking. He's 5"5", overweight (used to be quite obese), and a nice but average face. He simply has "it". He's very magnetic. I totally understand why so many women want to be with him.

As for the more stereotypical "Chads", I've dated at least two. Tall, muscular, chiseled jaw, popular, charming, etc. They were both nice guys and good boyfriends.

I've dated a lot of guys. Most of them very good looking. Not one has "pumped and dumped" me, only one guy could honestly be described as a straight up asshole. I haven't experienced the level of disrespect and abuse I'm warned about by TRP for my promiscuous ways.

My close friend of 10 years was a Chad. 6'4", lean muscles, conventionally attractive face, 6 fig salary, decent dick size, N probably near the triple digits by now, always has girls pining for him, funny personality.

That said, I never went for him for anything more than a few hookups (with no PIV). I turned a few female friends towards him too. He was just really good at making girls feel special and never, ever judged or made a girl feel slutty, even if they were cheating with him. This made it easy for all these girls to kinda use him guilt and worry-free, but I felt bad for the ones that actually allowed themselves to develop romantic feelings for him.

I cut him off when I got into a serious LTR (my SO is uncomfortable with me around any kind of ex) but last I heard, he was growing depressed from his inability to form a stable relationship with a woman and not cheat on her or grow complacent within a month, because he knew that there's a hotter girl just a few Tinder swipes away. I don't see why this is a life incels envy. He's just as lonely as the smegma-est of incels, except he's left a path of broken hearts behind him, because he can't fathom the existence of a woman who would make him happy. It's horrible.

The only "Chads" I have met in real life are obnoxious men who find it easy to get laid with women - women with no self esteem or dignity because they accept the poorest behavior from them.

I have never seen one of these "Chads" with women who are actually interesting and/or have some kind of sense of self worth.

Barring teenage crushes, all of the guys I actually dated were "chads", to me at least. We both had options but chose to spend time together anyways because we saw qualities we respected and admired.

Chad=knows what he wants/has plan to get it, values himself, isn't put off by failure, is confident enough in himself to not worry about appearing weak, intelligent, and athletic

If Chad is defined by high N count with the ability to get heterosexually laid on his terms, then my husband I suppose. If Chad is defined as a 6 foot, 6 pack, 6 figure demigod, then I don't know a man like that personally, but then ones I do know are gay.

My husband is 5'8" on the thin side, and hella broke. But he's an extremely charismatic singer/musician that draws people to him. He pumps out feelz with his music so women love him, but he also commands group of bros in a sort of, brain-over-brawn situation.

If you don't know him he comes off as an enigmatic tortured artist with a streak of darkness, but once you do know him he's an affable jokester with a dash of assholery.

I find TRP's fascination with casual sex to be completely wrong headed.

The TLDR, we all want to be loved and casual sex isn't love. The narcissists and psycho's don't care about love but pretty much EVERYONE else does.

The man who has a lot of casual sex at least in my case is genetically gifted and has a great personality. I'm not just "funny" I have a good sense of humor and quick wit, I have depth and interests and a large circle of acquaintances and I earn a good living. I have leadership qualities. I'm genuine and sincere. I don't have pickup lines or "KINO" or any technique other than knowing who she is and where she's going and what she wants within about 2 minutes of casual conversation. I ask the right questions and those are all based on reflexion in conversations. I don't argue or insult at all. I don't demand things like respect or sex. I don't ignore women on purpose. I don't obsess about women and sex, at all.

What I have done is become more and more obsessed with the fact that I'm "alone/not truly loved" I'm actually not either of those things but in my mind the worry is constantly there.

I'm not a woman but I'm sure you'd consider me "Chad." I want you to know something about people who have/had lots of casual sex. It's ruins your view of people and it's as unfulfilling and unrewarding as having all the candy you can eat.

It ends up being the loneliest feeling in the world. It leads to hatred of the opposite sex. You end up trying desperately to avoid women in relationships but it isn't always possible, because that's one thing women hide better than anything else when they are looking to score, their relationship status. Which, for reasons of guilt they feel, you always learn almost immediately after you've had sex.

Consider that everyone wants to love and be loved and after a few hundred, "I have a significant other" blurbs following casual sex, I start to not trust people/women. Since everyone wants to be loved, what do I do with that knowledge? I "know" women cheat and cheat a lot but I'd also like to have a partner to count on... Where do I find the security in a relationship when I've been blessed with this knowledge? I just tell myself, "The women who cheat are just the one's that are the easiest to pick up." And I hope my LTR isn't easy to pick up. Good luck to anyone who has to live with this. It shows.

Casual sex, It's not a good thing, it isn't great, it's eventually depressing and can be the most harmful thing any person ever does to themselves. I ended up being unable to trust anyone in a LTR. No trust = loneliness.

I know why so many think it's awesome and want to have lots casual sex, because they are lonely and they think "Chad" isn't lonely and that he can have love anytime he wants. That just isn't the case at all.

First and foremost even in a large city, women talk and eventually any relationship "Chad" starts the woman he's with, she will eventually know he was/is promiscuous. What's bad about that? How about the fact that you can't go anywhere or do anything without someone you've previously had sex with being there too. Yeah, and a lot of women love letting your date know, you've been promiscuous. I can be at dinner in a nice restaurant or at a concert or event and someone from my past will come up and say, "Hi". Yep, and as I see someone in a LTR over time having person after person, say hi, or wave or give that knowing smile, it fucks up any LTR you'll want to have.

So no, don't idealize men who have a lot of casual sex because, if they aren't mentally ill, they are probably some of the loneliest people you'd ever meet.
