Don't be a fool, protect your tool.
Go to at least a few parties even if it's usually not your thing, you'll work out if you actually like it or not and you'll make friends (including girls) even if you don't.
Drinking is fine but don't drink stupid amounts even if everyone else is, you'll just chunder everywhere. You'll probably try some drugs but research them first and use a testkit so you know it's actually what is claimed. Don't drink too much or do too many stims if you wanna have sex that night cuz your dick might not work. Don't do shit cuz of peer pressure, do shit if you wanna try it.
Don't have lots of casual sex just because everyone else is either. If you try it and find you don't really enjoy it much and would rather be in a relationship, do that instead.
Make sure you have a social circle you get along with and share interests with, these are the people who will stick with you not only at uni but throughout your adult life.
Be open exploring new interests and new circles too though, this is the best way to "find yourself" (for want of a better term) during those years you're becoming an adult.
Those social circles are the best way to meet girls IRL and uni is the absolute easiest place to get laid and just make friends on the planet so enjoy it while you can yo.
Actually do some work too.

Unless my son was a star athlete, I'd tell him the real wins aren't likely to come in college, which he should use to focus on self improvement via figuring out career, fitness and life management skills. From what I've seen 80/20 is harder than ever in college campuses. Build a strong career network. Do your best to avoid getting emotionally invested in any girl.

The more social groups you get your tendrils in, the more chances you have at making actual friends and from there relationships. *Parties are a privilege, not a right. If you dont keep up your grades you havent earned the privilege to party. College is ultimately for learning, you can drink like an asshole anywhere else and it wont cost you 50 grand a year. *Drugs are fun, but make sure you know what you are taking. Dont do anything anyone gives you just because everyone else is taking it. *If you see a girl dancing and you want to dance with her, ask her first. Dont just start grinding on her from behind. It takes much a lot more confidence to ask and confidence is attractive. Also, its less awkward to get turned down than it is to have a girl push you off of her.
