Red/orange/yellow flag: it's been 7 dates and he's still calling you pretty lady instead of your name. If "pretty" is the only trait he sees in you, that's a red flag. He might be trying to use you to fulfil some fantasy of chivalry. Be wary of him trying to make you fit into some sort of script (in this case, probably the swooning damsel in distress). I would keep my guard up.

Why are you still dating this clown? I am like 99% sure you posted about this guy before on here and got the same replies. Him calling you "beautiful lady" is creepy. If you are going to keep wasting your own time, stop wasting ours. You are not following the handbook and you are ignoring red flags and have been on 8 dates with a guy you got told was LVM. So why are you still posting about him? You are dating a LVM and not following FDS principles. There is no point in us advising you because you are ignoring it anyway.

8 dates is a lot lol. Sometimes you have to say no to dates. Do not accept every date he offers because you should have other plans. Don’t be readily available to this guy.

Also he should be calling you by your name unless you’re married to him. It seems like you called him by HIS name. You have a birth name that deserves to be respected.

To throw an spin on things... I’d like to ask what you want to do with him? Are you purposefully dating or wasting your time with him? I think it is the latter.

Toxic and/or unwanted relationships should be avoided at all times. We all know what men want to do with us but what do you want to do with him? Is he wanted or unwanted? No need to lead him on if he is unwanted.

CONTEXT - he asked me out and is planning a date with a daytime activity and dinner afterwards. Is this a red flag?

I'm thinking of replying with "I don't hold hands with anyone I'm not in a committed relationship with. I'll let you know when/if I'm ready, as the lady should be the one who sets the pace for anything physical."

Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated!
