Howdy y’all!

I’m pretty sure I’m the only guy on PPD who really doesn’t care about N count that much so I’m struggling and need help to understand this concept.

The only way I can kinda feel what men describe as an aversion to a relationship with a high N count woman is when I imagine two scenarios:

1) when the disparity is extreme - I.e. the guy has a partner count of say, 2 or 3, and the girl has a partner count of say, 50-100+.

2) when the men that she’s slept with are WITHIN my social circle.

Furthermore - I need help to understand, really deeply, the ‘why’.

I’ve heard reasons like:

1) if she treats sex so lackadaisically, then my concern is that it won’t mean anything when she has it with me.

2) if she has rampant sex, with tons of different sexual partners, then my concern is that her casual attitude towards promiscuity is indicative that she’ll be less resistant to sexual temptations and, in turn, more likely to cheat or get bored of my sexual attention and leave me.

3) there’s no real ‘good’ reason in the modern era - it was an evolved reflexive disgust - and I can’t (nor want to) fight how I feel; My personal preference.

4) The idea that if she gave her sexual self so willingly and freely to another man who put in little to no effort, but I had to work for it...cheapens the reward of my efforts/soils the fruits of my labor. My concern is that I will never have that which I, as a man, deeply desire - the complete and utter desire of the woman I choose for all that I am, not for what I can do or provide.

I think those are the most common reasons. Did I miss any? Do you view it differently? Am I alone in this confusion?
