They might have conservative leanings in that they don't believe in equality, as in they see themselves as inferior to others and wanting to own them libs and subsuquently feminists (or was it the other way around?). I think you have a wrong view on them being for Trump, they are more indifferent towards him and against the people that get mad at him.

Nor is it surprising when you've spent the last 30 years of your congressional career preaching high-sounding rhetoric, getting very little done, and railing against both parties whenever it politically suited you, only to be shocked, shocked when Democrats who've worked in and for the party for years harbor some animus towards you because you latched onto it for your personal political aspirations when you needed it.

I'd call myself more a "Market Socialist" than a Democrat, but I completely understand their frustration. Trump is a worse person than Bernie Sanders, but he's a way fucking better politician. When progressives understand that they live in a country with, um, people who disagree with them, they might find some success in their political tactics. Politics is the art of what's possible, and since Democrats don't fall in line, compromise is the name of the game.

Not a Red Piller, but - I would say it's entirely consistent for a Chad to blame all of their woes on "society", shirk all personal responsibility, equate duty and social obligations as "oppressive" unless of course it's in an internet debate devoid of any actual effort or sacrifice and you can get a cheap attack in on your political opposition.

Alpha masculinity, on the other hand, I would argue doesn't sway to the winds of every progressive political whim to cloak itself in virtuousness. That's what I strive towards. The left makes some excellent cases, and to suggest that Joseph Stalin or Che Guevara weren't "manly" (even if they were terrible human rights violators) is preposterous.

But I don't think the "free stuff for everyone forever" proggies with their lattes and scarves, who want to ban guns from the workers and are too tepid to join the revolution are particularly masculine, no.
