You know I tried once to buy into all this "new man", show my feelings BS. My wife said to me, can you take our son to a children's party. I replied "to be honest, I feel uncomfortable and anxious about that. There are a lot of woman there that I don't know, I don't really feel a part of the mom's group and I find it difficult to be in that situation".

Her reply was "suck it up buttercup, I have to put up with lots".

Now, whilst women may say they want 50/50 or they want this that and the other I honestly believe deep down women also want some traditional male traits. Bravery, fearlessness, "man up" etc.

Honestly, as a man if you show any emotion, you'll get laughed at: by other men and women. As Admiral Ackbar said "It's a trap!"
