That's outstanding. One decent male role model can give these kids a glimpse past the disfunction that surrounds them and inspire then to become more than they thought they could be.

Although this is a good post, its title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable.

As a guy who never had a father i alwaya think of doing something like this. There are some traits I never learned because of his absence. I feel as though i can really relate to these young boys and I can help them in really positive ways. The only thing that bothers me is the girls. What about the little girls who need someone aswell? I would make sure the boys spend quality time with male role models, but what do we do with the young girls? Do we find strong woman to do the same with them? What activities would they do? I feel as though young woman need to know how to put on make up in our society, so we can organize lessons or bring in some helpers to help them learn, but then again why should woman wear make up? Is that not part of a problem? Idk man i just want to help but i feel as though i would just fuck it up

Coming from someone who grew up in SC and went to a public school, there was a gentleman's club 15 years ago at my middle school. This guy did not create it, but it's nice how it's made it's way to elementary schools

It's a curtural thing that needs addressed, same in U.K. Too high a percent of black dads disappear leaving the Mum with the burden of everything. It's pathetic. Yes white dads do it too but there seems to be a disproportionate amount of black single mums and it's not fair

I feel bad for that "only white kid", like I feel bad for all of the kids but that white kid is the only white kid...and yet people say America ain't diverse or is ruled by white supremacy. I do like what this teacher is doing its just I don't understand how there us only one white kid without a Dad.

The number one thing is respect women, never touch women, don't rape women, always believe women, and basically putting women on a pedistal.
