Remember the feminist-run cafe in Melbourne in Australia that charges men an 18% 'man tax'

It is still going, but the Google reviews are being manipulated to reduce the impact of negative reviews. Please don't submit fake reviews, but experiment with sorting the reviews in different ways to see how the 'likes' seem to be a movable feast. And look at the distribution of ratings: the mean score is going down.

Here is the text of a recent one star review. At least the diner has definitely been to the cafe, but it was the attitude that generated the one star review, not the food.

Let me start of by saying one star is for poor basic customer service not their food. My wife went in and I followed a minute later. The attitude changed dramatically literally in seconds.

I understand what this place is trying to achieve but don't beat around the bush about it. You only want females here and that's fine. Just as there's all female gyms I get that, however don't punish males for wanting to sample your food. I will look on with interest of how you will interact with the general public at World Vegan Day on Sunday the 12th of November. I hope you treat all walks of like with respect and dignity and don't look at an individual as particular sex.

It's places like this that give genuine vegetarians and vegans a bad name. I've been a strict vegetarian all of my 45 years and this type of place just turns the clocks back decades. How about donating a small amount of all sexes meals to true female causes ? Now that would be a wonderful thing to do and I'm pretty sure all walks of life from different backgrounds would actually embrace your establishment. Food for thought.

Just got a email from google on 31/5/18 saying 86 people liked my review..strangely on the website of this place say 1 person likes it. :( how sad.
