I can't tell you the exact age, but it was as soon as it became clear from the accounts of my parents that my circumcision was one of those "medically needed" cases that actually was anything but (something which statistics probably don't even count properly).

It was the result of medical malpractice by an incompetent and grossly negligent urologist who induced paraphimosis by forcibly retracing the foreskin at a time when medical wisdom tells us it's normal for it to be too tight to be safely retracted (read: before puberty, when the foreskin is still supposed to be basically immovably stuck to the glans).

I'd say late teens to early tweens.

But before I knew that, i had already noticed the disadvantages of this MGM. It sucks having an unprotected, uncovered glans where the slightest rubbing of fabric can feel like sandpaper. On the other hand, the constant rubbing over time made the glans less sensitive, thereby deteriorating the feeling of masturbation. This led to my clueless teen self using overly rough masturbation techniques that literally bruised my dick and slightly damaged my uretha to the point of me now forever having after dribbling minutes after each time i pee.

So yeah, excuse me, but I'm still fucking angry about this.

Is this really an issue though? This is the modern age, if you aren't aware that photoshop happens we can probably chalk that one up as ignorance. Both men and women get photoshopped, I'm sure there are plenty of men who get photoshopped to have larger dicks. And men in porn are typically chosen based on dick size/shape. Do I care? No. No, I don't care. At all. I don't think any of this is an issue.

Certain aesthetics are more appealing, this is a fact. If you have a problem with that, cry me a river. That's just how it is. You can't blame the porn providers for giving the people what they want.

Government saying excess vaginal skin is too hardcore? Well, its hard to argue that the excess skin isn't more detailed than it not being there. Frankly, I don't see an issue with any of it. People should just stop caring so much about their bodies not being ideal and get over it. Its fucking childish.

In Australia you can look at 'softcore' porn at age 15. So... whole different ball game, from a Societal standpoint. I remember when I was in England, staying with my Ex and her Family. The dog pee'd on the floor, and as I was walking to the bathroom, I look down, and theres this woman with her breasts hanging out... on the newspaper, soaking up dog pee. It blew my mind. Canada goes along with America in it's stupidity about nudity. But Europe is definitely more progressive. Hell, Brothels are Legal in Australia. You can literally, at 18, use your Debit Card, or hard earned cash, to buy some Vagina time in the same way you buy a beer at the pub.

Now here is the thing, you like your dick and I understand that hell I applaud it, I wish everyone could like their dick. But you like your dick the way it is because that's the only way you have known your dick to be. The reason it should not be done on babies but on consenting adults is that you can't ever be sure of how someone else would feel when they grow up. There is also the multitude of functions and attributes that the foreskin has but I won't go into that. You can always circumcise and you can never "uncircumcise", for that reason alone it should be left alone until its owner is old enough to make decisions about permanently altering his body.

Maybe it is, I certainly can't deny I've never experienced having a different penis. But I, and the majority of people I've talked to about this (mostly girlfriends) preferred circumcised dicks. There is, in my experience, and I' don't have an statistics to back this up, a culutral preference for circumision that has nothing to do with being amoral, (they simply haven't thought about it that way) and everything to do with aesthetic preference. Now maybe it's a shitty thing to say, but for me that's sufficient to be glad I'm cut. Though perhaps per your argument above that would change if we just stopped cutting. But I don't know, aesthetics aren't all about what were exposed to. I think that if I were uncut, I would be less happy with my penis and feel helpless to change that fact as I know one of my friends (who is uncut) to be.

Circumcision is much less common in Australia (less than 20%, uncut is normal!) than in the US, and thankfully rates are declining in both countries. That doesn't make digitally editing vaginas, and therefore distorting what a normal vagina looks like to young people who don't know what normal is, any less messed up.

I'm sorry that uncut guys think there's something wrong with their penises, it's really makes me sad to think that guys are made to feel this way. It also makes me sad to think that there will be young girls and guys growing up who watch this porn and think there is something wrong with their labia and that this is what a normal woman looks like. Both are wrong.

Physically mutilating your infant son for religious or cultural reasons is worse than just digitally editing the labia, I don't want any confusion over how I feel on this. I am against circumcision unless it is for medical reasons or if the person having it done is an adult and choosing it.
