So according to this study, if you are a man and considered morbidly obese for your BMI you have the lowest chance of being single (you are more likely to be in a relationship)and also have a fairly high number of sex partners.

I need to read this study more but this just seems very wrong on its face. If it’s findings are right though, then men need to head to the nearest Dairy Queen immediately!

The median age in this study is 40, the study is from 2015 and it's only for people who visit the NBC news website.

You can empirically see the large difference that height makes by changing your height on dating apps.

Why there are so many random drops and peaks? Like in male height it's relatively increasing until 6'2,taller man are getting less partner and then there's huge drop ot 6'4 putting it lower than even the average height. But then one inch further it goes way up and it's the peak of the graph all of a sudden. The sample is quite big so I don't think other factors would take over.

When I see these kinds of studies I always wonder also about the quality of these partners as well. ONS with 8 drunk average to below average girls is different from having 8 attractive FWBs on call, but they are both counted as 8 partners.

Look at the error bars for the shortest and tallest men and women. Since the sample is large this may be due to actual variation.

Look at the linear regression and the beta coefficients for height. They are almost nothing. Only "Very Short" as a categorical variable got screwed at -.22. There was no difference in any of the tall categories.

Mid Healthy BMI had -.22 same as Very Short and Low Healthy BMI was -.33. Upper Healthy BMI -.11.

When looking at the actual numbers basically everyone had 7-12 partners.

TRP/BlackPill will hate this because "muh 20/80" but once again we see that figure hasn't played out in anything except for OKCupid likes.

Chad: any man who is average to tall height with a BMI between upper and lower overweight.

This isn't super surprising. I'm 5'6 and have had at least 30 sex partners (I stopped counting after 20 or so).

With that said (and despite being engaged), I still consider myself to be blackpill.

As a tall guy who knows a lot of tall guys this doesn't really shock me.

Height gets you in the door. Height doesn't seal the deal. It doesn't do much other than maybe get you 5 seconds of attention if that. This goes double on an age of apps where every woman is swiping for height but every tall guy is there and every medium sized guy is lying. When theres 100 tall guys to pick from being tall matters way less.

The problem is that men lie about their n counts, we know that short men are even more insecure than your average man, and we also know that due to feminism allowing me to have a job, women are able to be much more picky about our mate preferences than ever before. I would bet money the real statistics for short men would be indicative of borderline utter celibacy, across the board.

A woman calling you short, and you not being able to deal with that shit test wouldn't have mattered. If you cant deal with shit tests in general, being taller it would have just been something else you'd have failed at.
