My wife and I have agreed to divorce after 14 years of marriage. A few years ago I quit my decent paying job to become a teacher and have a schedule that allows me to be the kids (9, 6, 5) primary childcare provider. She makes six figures so she has been supporting us. I am currently a substitute teacher and do not make much money. We'd like to keep the lawyers out. I've offered to move out once the divorce is finalized and to split everything including the kids 50/50 no alimony no child support. Id move into an apartment and plan on seeing my kids 50% of the time but particularly when school is not in session (Spring Break, summers, etc..) Am I leaving all kinds of alimony money on the table? Anything else I need to look out for?

Thanks, guys.
