She's a queen. Her energy and perspective are refreshing and inspiring and she just radiates wisdom and confidence even in her vulnerability.

I felt her pain when she said her husband treated her like a coffee table, as a thing to dump shit on and bump into in the middle of the night but otherwise ignored. And I think most women can relate to being seen as a blank canvas for others' desires while being utterly unheard.

I just checked out google, and her husband was 21 years older than her and not attracted to her anymore because she aged??? Seriously delusional man.

I will quote what some guy texted me last week “I am a man, we are allowed to be hairy and gross. Women are to be smooth and delicate.” It annoys the hell out of me that women are so highly judged and criticized for their appearance while men don’t even bother to try.

Wow. Such a classy woman and brave raw honesty. Been with her husband since 19, loved him for 30+ years, and suddenly doesn't find her attractive anymore 🤯. Ffs, how do you prevent this / vet for this?! I guess she does talk about the red flag where he dismisses what she says throughout their relationship and only values her for looks. Never date men who doesn't value your opinion, knowledge, thoughts, ambitions, etc! "Wife goggles" is a lie! You can be a loving, faithful wife for decades since youth and literally a super model, and then get this. And she still looks better than the vast majority of men her age.

Not only did Crusty leave her out of his will, she had been a very famous and very wealthy women in her right when they met. She trusted him and put all her money into their (his) account when she married him so the idea of him leaving her out of the will is outrageous- a lot of it was HER money! 🤬

At 40 men want to date 12 years younger, at 60 they want to date 20 years younger. It never stops. I don't understand what's in it for women. I mean if the man is much richer, I can see that he's trading his money for her youth, okay, but most men aren't that much richer than women, right, so why would a woman date older?

Oh my god... i swear gorgeous women have it the hardest. The only reason a man is with a beautiful woman is because how he'd look with her at his arm and for her body. But whenever this is gone because the woman get older, then no longer care because they never really loved us for who we are, never saw us. And they acted HVM to keep your physics.

At least, when you are not that attractive, you have more guarantees they love you for who you are...

This is why I find jobs like modelling almost as objectionable as sex work (although yeah, it's a lot less lurid and typically less violent). When you cut past all the bullshit all these jobs rest entirely on objectification - that's it. It's really not surprising, then, that women get chewed up and spit back out after a few years once they start aging. In the video she said 'as a model, you rent your body out as a blank canvas' - she's right, and no job or practice should do this to a person. The problem with having patriarchy pat you on the head for looking good is that the moment you stop basically everything you've built up on these grounds gets taken from you. It's not real power - at least not the kind wrinkly old white guys have.

Just from watching this interview, I feel like she has a beautiful soul and is an interesting person I would get along with even though I'm more than 20 years younger. She is also beautiful in a physical sense and her aging doesn't even matter. Combining inside and outside, I think she is one of the most beautiful women I ever saw.

I really wish for her to find self worth that is not tied to a piece of shit scrote. Her ugly NVM husband groomed her when she was 17 and he was 37. Seems like her parents neglected her and used her for their own success. She was shoved into modelling world very young and had no good support system. I hope she finds one and realizes how much more she is worth than every single NVM/LVM that is crawling on this planet.

Her ex was a total scrote. She had been with him since she was 19 years old and he was already way older than her and wrinkled. Just looked at recent pictures of her, and she’s still beautiful, and of course scrotes keep negging her about her age. No surprise there. And I literally spit my coffee out when I heard that her ex was no longer attracted to her, and would treat her like shit. Have you guys seen this guy before??? You couldn’t pay me to touch him. I guarantee you that this woman is not "invisible to the male gaze" even now.

What she is is a casualty of a subculture that is superficial and (for women) youth focused - even more so than the culture at large.

She probably doesn't even process interest that isn't explicitly objectifying (either in a vulgar way OR in a pedastalizing way) as interest, because that was the world she lived in for most of her life, that was her role - in her career, in her marriage with an old waster, etc.

She was taught to base her self esteem and self concept on something deeply unhealthy, as women in her industry often are. The amount and type of attention that young models get from men like her husband is not a measuring stick for anything worth having a lot of. Networking around the modeling industry practically doubles as a trafficking ring ffs.

I noticed, in an interview with her that I read like 10 years ago, that she had internalized a lot of sad, cringy stuff. I really wish her luck in undoing it.
