It’s the only toy I’ve consistently had and reordered over 10 years. I love that it’s plug in. I’m going to try a Satisfyer after reading some of these comments though.

The Hitachi is the brute-force cracker of the vibe world: It's big, it's loud, it plugs into the wall, it has one job and it's not stopping till that job is done!

So if you have difficulty having an O, and/or you need a long time to get there, and/or you're not a fan of direct stimulation, the Hitachi would probably be a great investment.

However if you are more sensitive, it might be too intense. I've heard a lot of woman complain about it being too intense for direct stimulation, or it being so intense it makes it harder for them to get off to manual stimulation or gentler vibes. If you're worried about that, then I reccomend Lelo brand. They use body-safe silicones and have a fairly large variety of toys.

That being said, when it comes to vibes, it's usually always better to have one that's too strong rather than too gentle. You can usually work with the strong ones and find the right setting/position for you. So if you want to try the Hitachi, I say go for it, bearing in mind there may or may not be a bit of a learning curve.

YES!! Best purchase I ever made. I’ve always had trouble cumming, even alone. I didn’t have my first orgasm until I was 19, and it was with the Magic Wand, after practicing with it for a year(!!!). It's really, really loud. Also the orgasm it gives you doesn't feel like your standard clitoral one. It's almost painful and artificial feeling if I can put it into words.

You're still going to love it. I like mine and it's better than exposing myself to scrotes and their diseases.

I agree with phoenix that it’s really intense. Sometimes I enjoy it but most of the time I prefer the Satisfyer Pro 2. Look it up (they have their own site) and reviews, it’s great and if you buy it directly from the website it has a 15 year warranty and the team is great. They were ready to replace mine twice, once when the package was delayed and once when I thought it stopped working.

Yes yes yes yes and yes. The fact that it plugs in instead of taking batteries is worth every penny in my book. And I agree with the person who said it's strong enough to use through your clothes - makes keeping it clean much easier. I even sewed a cover for mine lol

I have an old one and I don't get it. But maybe that's because I didn't buy the attachments? Although I see videos of women using it without the attachments directly on their clitoris. It's way too intense and awful and I think a terrible choice personally.

Getting a speed control for it is a huge improvement. It generally has 2 modes, hard and harder. But there are dimmer attachments you can get to make it more suitable for use on your sensitive parts.

I would suggest the le wand over the Hitachi. It’s not as loud which makes it easier to be discreet when you may have kids in the home.

Honestly, I don't know anything about it, but I've used the Lush 2 and it's been amazing. I've never used the wand models, because I feel like those are more intense. I'm a single mom as well. It's my only toy and I love it a lot.

I personally stay away from the super high powered toys, while the orgasms can be achieved quickly and are intense I think they desensitise you. It took me a long time to be able to just use my hands again after a few years where I only used high power vibrators, and also contributed to me struggling to orgasm during sex when previously it was very easy for me. I still have a variety of vibration toys but stick to ones that have multiple speeds/intensities. Cannot recommend Lelo enough, their toys are things of beauty and in my experience have been well worth the investment. I’m super tempted to get the new Lelo Sila, but as I’ve never orgasmed through oral sex (not that the scrotes I’ve slept with were ever any good so it’s to be expected I suppose) I’m wary of spending so much on something that might not work for me.

I'm afraid of spending money on anything without solid recommendations. I know the hitachi is probably one of the loudest out there. I also spent $79 on a toy and loved it but it stopped working within 2 weeks.

I think it is worth it.

It is loud and bulky compared to newer types, but it feels amazing.

I also recommend Lelo toys. They have a dildo called Ella that was life-changing for me 😂 and a rabbit-style toy that is wonderful.

I love it, but the only downside is that it only has 2 settings. The highest setting is almost painful to me, and ideally I’d like to slowly increase the intensity, but it never fails to give me an orgasm. Also, it’s the highest durability toy I’ve ever owned.
