There are men out there who appear to be very kind and altruistic. You may hence think they are HVM but this is not always the case. I know men who appear to be really kind as they volunteer and are willing to mentor others for free and guess what? I've caught them emotionally cheating when their SOs are not around.

There are plenty of men who act altruisticly simply because it makes them look good. Just look at all those ultra rich CEOs who donate a lot of money. They appear to be altruistic and willing to help the underprivileged but in reality, many of them look down upon people from the working class (and often people from the middle class too). There's a reason why so many rich people only have rich friends despite claiming how they care about resolving poverty via donations.

So yup, while a guy being nasty means he's LV, a guy being altruistic does not guarantee he is HV. There is no such thing as a green flag to confirm a guy is HV so vet him constantly.
