She’s not wrong and I love her energy. I only want to add that I think we should be careful about how much focus and blame we put on “weak” women in general. Women are raised in and encouraged by our patriarchal society to act weak and get picked. This is sadly the norm. We are gaslit and beaten down (literally) when we assert standards and boundaries for ourselves. It’s really easy to criticize these women, but I’d rather focus on how men have failed and created the whole pick-me issue.

I fully agree with the sentiment that girls and women (me included) need to start raising the standard both on a personal and on a societal level. However, I think we also have to be very careful about not demonizing women and shifting blame onto them - especially knowing that not all women have the same level of support and education when it comes to standards and self-worth.

Women's "weakness" is the fact that our love is almost unconditional. That is not a weakness, it's a beautiful thing. The problem is when others take advantage of this fact. People should be more mature and check themselves to make sure we don't take advantage of people being good, not force good people to become less empathetic.

Weak women are not born. Weak women are created over time. Weak women are strong women who got torn down by their exes or family members who claim that they need a man. Weak women are stuck in financial abuse and can’t afford to leave.

I would argue that the individual man does not benefit, because he knows he can find women who are weaker and don’t have standards or boundaries. He will constantly escape himself for the rest of the life and will never take responsibility.

I’d also argue mankind DOES benefit from this. Because this happens on a macro level, they can say it’s a woman problem. They can say, “oh well there’s plenty of women out here eating our dusty crumbs. If you won’t, one of these pickmeshas will.” Then the narrative/responsibility shifts over to women and their standards. The individual man believes he is benefiting from this societal wide issue. But all he’s gonna do is jump from failed relationship to failed relationship, and the woman that he really wants will never want him back. She has a little scrote shop vac handy for those dusty ass crumbs.
