I really feel for her. She likely feels so trapped , living on that scroats unemployment while she goes to school and takes care of a newborn. Sure as shit he isn't going to pay child support if he can't even shower, and if he already blames her for everything, going through a custody battle with him is going to be a nightmare. I hope that she has family support to get out now. Lesson to us all on being careful who you have kids with.

Why can't they just shower every day.:( My younger brother showers once a week, maximum, and I always have to hold my breath when I'm near him. I don't wanna talk about this with him, because he's 19 and I'm not gonna baby an adult man, but it's sooo gross.

I can't wrap my head around his "logic." If I understand correctly, to him, personal hygiene is a chore along with doing dishes etc.? Washing HIS body is something he does FOR HER, so if he's done some bare minimum chores, he gets a free pass on being sweaty and disgusting? Make it make sense.

Why is it so hard to take a freaking shower? It's so basic and just a little hygiene goes a long way. I just do not understand why some men act and think like this and then expect to be treated like effing Greek gods. Oh wait...patriarchy and entitlement, that's why.

More seriously, this poor woman must be feeling so trapped. Textbook perfect example of why you should never be dependent on a man for anything, and why we need to vet to be sure they bring US value.

For whatever reason, she got into this relationship, but also became dependent in it. We should always be able to gtfo when something goes wrong.

This was quite painful to read... The man is almost 40, I expect men to mature by then... but I guess I am horribly wrong! he's almost 10 years older than her and he has a problem blaming her for all his misfortunes but the poor woman wants him to ... at least take a shower cuz he stinks....? the bar is in hell. Since he wants time and space... I hope she gives him a lot of space by dumping his ass on the doorstep of the therapist and leaving him there.
