I have a hard rule that I won't associate with an ex in any way. I don't believe in staying "friends" with an ex. If we broke up then it was for major reasons, because I'm very cautious about who I get involved with and I'm very loyal. I only do serious relationships with someone I can see a future with. If they broke that then there is no friendship to salvage.
