Women & Children get privileges because they are the future. Men are the foundation. We are strong. We have to be. Men provide. We work and make sure the future is comfortable & safe.

This, I agree with. It could easily be a picture of a woman on the streets and two men inside the cafe. This real problem is homelessness in general.

He could go to a shelter to clean up and get some food and a place to stay. It's his choice to lay on the ground.

Absolutely there are shelters for men but they aren't typically restricted to men only as women's shelters are restricted to women only. Not to mention the overcrowding are shelters, i'm sure, both mens and womens.

I'm confused by the responses that point the finger of shame at these women as if they are somehow responsible for his situation.

What is the desired outcome here? Are these women supposed to finance the homeless man?

If the homeless man is in such dire straights as to warrant this level of contempt toward two women who appear oblivious to his condition, what are each of you doing to relieve his suffering?

If these women are to be held accountable for homeless people sleeping in the street...

...then every one of us is accountable for them.

To say that motor vehicles as a system is broken is a gross understatement. It is more accurate to say that system is fatally flawed.

Yet they continue to be manufactured. Interesting.

But wait, the newest models are incorporating some fancy technologies including collision detection, automatic braking, and even assisted parking.

And we absolutely cannot neglect the self-driving vehicles that are very well underway.

What does this mean? It means we understand the system is broken and we are innovating technology to remove as much of the errors from the system that we can.

We don't continue to produce the same problematic vehicles. In fact, it's reaching a point where we, the driver, has been identified as one of the worst problems of the system and therefore we are being phased out as a component.

To address your thoughts on repairing vehicles, have you noticed the major changes to that as well?

In the past, if your car broke you took it to a mechanic who diagnosed the problem by inspecting the engine, listening to it, using books and collected experience to troubleshoot the problem. This could result in a lot of trial and error leading to exorbitant repair bills.

Today? When the mechanic looks at the car what's the first thing they do? Connect the car to a computer and download diagnostic information including error codes from the onboard computer.

Imagine that! Removing even more of the broken human element from the broken vehicle system.

In summary, motor vehicles as a system were created by people and have major flaws. Efforts to correct this are culminating in the removal of the human element - because right now it is the most broken part.

/U/Crusader_1096 below explains the idiocy of your argument perfectly. If either "white" or "male" privilege were actually meaningful we wouldn't have scenes like in OP. We certainly wouldn't have females faring better on most quality of life indicators, or poor white boys being the most disadvantaged group in the UK.
