The video was posted in the official telegram channel of Zakarpattya Regional State Administration. The post says the driver will be presented with a charge for an illegal transportation attempt (3-5 years in prison) while the men who were trying to flee will be mobilized.

It's disgusting how people make fun of men that are not eager to sacrifice their lives. At the same time, women that flee are seen as victims and make headlines in the news. Someone has to take care of children, right? Surely only women are capable of it.

Encouraging young men to fight for your country is noble (depending on who you ask).

Forcing young men to fight for your country and then humiliating them, that does not make a man love his country.

Many of these young men who don't want to be in the war will be forced to kill or be killed. There'll be lots of suicide, and PTSD will be common for the survivors.

Those men who will develop unstable mental health will then be labelled "toxic" when they get home. If their new home happens to be in the west, these poor people from this day onwards, are going to live very miserable lives.

I bet some of these people have children, hoping they'll see them on the other side of the border, and never got to say a proper goodbye.

Meanwhile, lots of western media are demonising men, trying to paint pictures of happy fatherless families, putting all the flaws and faults of society on men, while they are forced to die in a war they didnt choose.

Is this male privilege?

I’d for sure flee if there was a war in the USA. In war, the side with the most male bodies and vehicles to throw into the grinder almost always wins. If the Finns lost land, I can't see how the Ukrainians won't also do so. Of course, the men who win on whatever side will receive no reward or recognition. They're just expendable robots in the eyes of their countries and the west. Just doing their duty as men as far as anyone's concerned. The poor bastards on the Russian side will also be hated no matter what the outcome is. Men have always been treated this way and probably always will.

I'm a veteran green beret from Singapore. I do see the hypocrisy of the situation, but if my country is being invaded, what other choice is there than drafting the men? Sure we could do that to the women too, but the presence of women in combat units becomes a distraction that lowers operational readiness.

What's the point of dying for a President who was asking bear to attack? Yeah, Russia is bad but you don't challenge a bad man if you know you can't stand your grounds.

Their President was a comedian actor who gained popularity from satirical TV series "Fake President". Then he actually ran for Presidency and won. His lack of experience in politics was not able to make him realise that the countries that he thought were allies aren't really allies. Now they are just watching him challenging Russia to continue fight and and burn Ukraine further. This is almost a movie scene when a brave hero almost loses to his enemy and at the end regains his power and defeat them. This is not a war reality.

He is deep into emotional outburst and his acting career wants him to believe in the concept fairness so his ego is not letting him to give up on evil. Fairness is an agreed term between two parties. There's no such thing as fairness in reality.

Guys, do yall not realize this is kind of a special case? There is a full-scale invasion in the country, war on all fronts, and you can contribute in multiple ways other than shooting a gun. Instead they choose not even to sit tight and wait (nobody is forcefully kicking men out of their homes to go fight at present moment), but to try to leave the country all together.

If this mentality is allowed to spread, then a lot more people will be tempted to follow suit. If they do - our army gets weaker and the chances of losing a war skyrocket - let me remind you, that in this case everyone will experience death or poverty without discrimination
