Wanted to bring your attention to a recent comment I have been frequently seeing: “Guys dont choose women BECAUSE they are dysfunctional. Guy choose women because they are attractive.”

Also, a common one I have been seeing: “If men vet women, they would have NO OPTIONS.”

Which brings me to my theory: Maybe a guy will think AWALT because he primarily chooses to entertain women like that. Instead of admitting he chooses to give those types of women any attention, he’ll just claim AWALT.

Many guys here don’t realize that their standards have consequences, especially the type of consequence they berate women.

I have seen this mindset a couple of time when men are asked here why would desire women you see as low value, such as “sluts”:

Guy wanna talk about “women incentivize bad behavior in men” but will totally be fine giving terrible women attention as long as she’s hot and/or very sexually available. Guys here complain that too many women think too highly of themselves just because Ch*d fucks them. I know guys here think women are a monolith, but there are women who dont care about relationships, so youre boosting her ego believing she’s fuckable. For example, I had a friend that was ALWAYS popular with guys and now she’s married despite being a drama-loving unstable slut who has dated walking red flags. And because guys here have admitted they’d rather date bad options than be single, plenty of women like my former friend can definitely get commitment. So why should she ever try to be a better person?

Now, addressing guys who say they hate dating women because takes hundreds of dollars to go on dates:

If you only want girls for their youth and beauty, why cant women only want you for your money?
