i mean it’s about as much an echo chamber as the RP sub, and while i agree with the sub’s philosophy and think it’s an important stage for many men (seeing that the redpill is awful) - they do have a history of being less lenient and open to general talking points than i’d like.
I once made a post there about how banning RP content creators on social media actually gives the RP validity, and it never saw the light of day - even though the post itself was anti RP
so in short, at best it should be a short, temporary stop to help deprogram the RP, but beyond that it doesn’t have much of another purpose (which i guess also means its fulfilling its reason for existence)
[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I am not deep into the RP, but I haven’t seen one real criticism.
Yes I understand a lot of members here are career women, yes not compatible with that philosophy. Since they preach a more traditional relationship and traditional gender roles. Just because it is not inclusive, it doesn’t mean it’s bad.
[–]ave-nocturna -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
....You're joking right? RP literally instructs and promotes using emotional abuse against women to get sex. This isn't an subjective opinion, it's been established that it's abusive by psychologists and mainstream news sites. All of the following "strategies" are textbook emotional abuse.

Which self claimed redpill guru is teaching these?
[–]ave-nocturna -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dude what exactly do you thnk RP is? All of the stuff I listed is bread and butter RP, standard issue "techniques" that all the well-known RP gurus have advocated basically since inception. That's why they came up with names for them. Literally this stuff is the whole crux of what RP is. The only difference between RP and generic life advice/self improvement that's been around forever is the emotional abuse tactics.
[–]KayRay1994 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
on top of this, the redpill re-enforces objectification by treating women as interchangeable accessories, takes away all agency from women by attempting to make men think they’re all the same. It also encourages sociopathic behavior via the use of manipulation tactics mentioned above, its blatantly misogynistic and its harmful to men in that it equates their worth to their material possessions, it re-enforces toxic masculinity by feeding many of the same issues that hurt men today (being emotionally closed off, binds your worth to material things, etc) - it hides behind some self help stuff (ex. hit the gym, don’t put women on a pedestal), but that’s the thing - ideological cults literally can’t survive without utilizing a little bit of reality

I got banned there after trying to answer the question of "why does red pill hate single mothers", while still voicing criticism of the 'red pill' crowd in the process.
What was the point of even asking the question if the only allowable answer was 'cuz they hate women, duh'?

One unspoken rule of redditor dynamics on this shit is that most of the vocal anti whatevers aren't actually happy successful normal people. They're usually just other miserable dudes with the same problems and no real alternate solutions, but they make being anti those other guys their identity in hopes that that will somehow be the solution.

I think MGTOW had a phrase for this...
"One blowjob away from going back to the plantation."
[–]TRPCops 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That's ironic because we said the exact same thing about MSTOW when it still plagued TRP. I phrased it as, "one whiff of pussy from returning to full beta"

Which is the whole reason literally nobody believed the posturing about chore play or loving your safe introvert dude or X Y Z that squares the ideological circle of these men and their issues. If being a safe agreeable introvert who was good at domestic shit was ever actually a viable solution most of them wouldn't have ever had these problems to begin with and there'd never have been a manosphere to begin with either.

Are we actually saying that the sigma ballz are worth listening to?
[–]Teflon08191 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I don't know what "the sigma ballz" are but it's a real enough phenomenon that some men would abandon all of their dignity and principals for a little sexual attention from a woman that a phrase was coined to describe it.
[–]propyl21 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The sigma male is a whole subset of men who have created that term to describe themselves. They see themselves on the same level as an alpha male, without the societal obligations. Irony being that they live and function in society. In other words they are basically coping. It's just another flavour of the manosphere that limits the person who peddles the ideology.
[–]Teflon08191 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Oh, I know what a sigma male is, and I know that people incorrectly label themselves all the time. You're apparently attributing all "MGTOW" men as the latter though? If so I'd be careful about throwing around the word "cope".
[–]propyl21 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely, cope is a trope word used by both sides as a form of being derogatory to each other. And I'm just as guilty in using it here.

Let's suppose you work for a company and you're asked to research a specific topic.
How would you go about creating a report that outlines both sides of the same talking point? You wouldn't just report on one side that you personally agree on would you? You'd remain neutral and give a down-the-middle report right?
Yet take a look at your own response here. How did you come to the conclusion? Did you take the time to read what every talking point in the other sub is? Did you weigh up the pros and cons?
If the answer is no, this here is what we call confirmation bias with a dose of cognitive dissonance.
[–]Bmiller1550 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
The best evidence I have is my own experience. Throughout maybe a dozen different women I've dated in my lifetime, I've had much more success using redpill concepts compared to blue pill.
Whenever I'm nice/romantic, go out of my way to do something for the girl. Text her almost everyday (behaviors women say they like) they always inevitably pull back and lose interest.
Whereas when I'm oftentimes unavailable, put my ambition over her, am indifferent to her, they stick around and oftentimes chase.
I really do wish bluepill advice worked for me, but it just has not been my experience at all.
I'd encourage men to try out both BP and RP concepts in the real world instead of just talking about them in online forums. See what works better for them. For me it was literally night and day difference
[–]propyl21 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Yes, red pill has some good teachings. They make the man have that eureka moment. I myself am ex red pill and have taken many pointers from it. Where I draw the line is when red pill (especially this new iteration) has gone beyond the norm in choosing to be toxic and misogynistic towards women. And should any guy who is not able to think logically, but instead who's emotional, will be easily swayed by its teachings to see women as the enemy, something we see here every day.
I'm going to show my age now. There was a time before the internet where primitive advice was given such as: "if you get her number, only call after 3 days so not to come across as desperate" - and don't even get me started on the tropes Cosmopolitan magazine used to pull and the daft things it would fill its female demographic's minds.
You don't need red pill to tell you that. Gain enough experience in life and this is evident in all aspects of life. By which point, you'll have levelled up the the dizzying heights that you could only dream of when you first started.
Blue pill teaches hope above all else. Hope is essential for a healthy self. You can be red pilled but choose to carry hope.
Red pill and nihilism teaches that there's no hope. Nihilism in particular, the core of its belief is that a person who practices it remains content. Except those here who are Nihilistic are anything but content and instead blame women for not giving them what they want. It's the dark side of Nihilism.
Absolutely. Go a few steps further and add stoicism, philosophy, psychology, and other ideologies. Men should endeavour to become whole by having access to many lenses to choose from when experiencing life.
[–]Bmiller1550 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
Alright fair enough. I agree with you, there is some nuance here. There is a certain aspect where if you go too far into redpill you'll get a "women are evil" vibe which I don't agree with. At the same time the bluepill advice of "treat her like a princess and she will love you" certainly doesn't work.
The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle, I just personally believe it's closer to the RP side than BP.
Yes precisely. Life is a thousand shades of grey. It's not hard for us to be kind to each other in a time where everyone is losing their heads. Good talking though. All the best.
[–]ave-nocturna 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Any man who thinks the strategy of pretending your time is too valuable and delaying response is some kind of cheat code is hilariously out of touch. It's been in use for so long now since PUA became a thing that women are basically universally aware of it, it's not some kind of magic voodoo that casts a spell on them.
That being said there's a difference between being legitimately busy and pretending to have better things to do, and usually women can distinguish between the two. With the former you're not routinely delaying responses around the clock, just during normal periods when you're expected to be busy like at work or at some engagement. Most women who are stable/secure will be okay with this because it's reasonable. With the latter you're doing it all the time randomly even when you're not anticipated to be working and you're not keeping them apprised of your schedule, you just come up with excuses for your delays, if you bother explaining at all. Most women who are stable are not okay with this and will move on once it becomes apparent after a few instances. Just like with a lot of RP tactics, this only reliably works on insecure/emotionally troubled women which is why people openly encourage targeting these types of women on this sub. No one who is logical and secure wants to waste their effort on someone who tries to make them feel like their time is too valuable for them.
[–]Bmiller1550 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I agree with you in that you should fill that time working on your passions, career, hobbies etc instead of just sitting on your Xbox thinking "okay gotta reply in 3 hours now".
In terms of the "this only works on insecure women" ehhhhh maybe I've only dated insecure women in my life.
Wouldn't more confident women not care if you haven't reached out to them in a while, knowing that their passions and goals keep them busy as well? And that you are just a phone call away if they need you? Just a thought that popped up.
[–]ave-nocturna 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sounds like you're not reaching the stage where you both actually like each other, only maybe a casual interest at best. You should know fairly early on if you genuinely like each other and then there's zero point in pussyfooting around, wanting to keep up and make plans comes naturally for both. Anything else fizzles out fast and is a waste of time.

[–]Dafiro93 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
So many men on here have that weird mindset that they'd rather wallow in their despair instead of doing something about it.
"The juice is not worth the squeeze" so instead, they'd rather just post "hard truths" on PPD and continue to be angry lol.
[–]KaminaxgurrenPurple Pill Man 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I think its more like "the juice isn't worth the squeeze, but that doesn't make it any easier to cope with the innate need for juice, but its still better than the squeeze."
[–]Dafiro93 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
The irony is that they likely have nothing to get squeezed for. All the guys scared about getting divorce graped are most likely broke anyways or sub $10k bank account since that's a majority of people in the US. Also the men who are 30+ virgins, I wonder what they did with their 20s, did they just lock themselves in their house after work (assuming they even worked)?
[–]KaminaxgurrenPurple Pill Man 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I mean, as someone almost 26 and very much on track to be a 30 year old virgin, I can tell you what I did in my early twenties and what I'm doing now. I spent my early 20s working while in and out of deep depression. Ended up saving up a decent chunk of cash and in the fall of 2019, I ended up going on a vacation that quite literally changed outlook on life, then back to college. And then... you can imagine how the next couple years went LMAO
These days, I'm a premed student working my ass off in school, working out very frequently, and have a great group of friends, all women, I spend a lot of time with. Still not even the slightest semblance of luck with women, but hey, coming a long way from where I was is a nice consolation prize
[–]Dafiro93 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What are you intending to do after premed? Also 4 years from 26 to 30 is a long time, so much time to improve every aspect of your life. You can transform your body drastically in 3 years, I know I did. Working out should just be a side quest because it's basically time gated unless you're juicing. I worked out 3 times a week for 90 mins, so that left a lot of time for improving everything else.
Also what have you done in terms of dating women? Everyone wants to wait until they're a finished package before trying but it doesn't work that way lol. You gotta just throw yourself out there even if it's just to get over a fear of rejection.
[–]KaminaxgurrenPurple Pill Man 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I plan to do psychiatry. And yeah, I'm hoping to transform my body totally within a year. I want progress as quickly as possible, because I know I gotta not be fat to have a chance with women.
I've made the mistake of having hope several times in the recent past, thrown myself out there and failed in some very baffling ways. It has not been pretty. It hasn't affected me as much as of late though, because even when I try to have hope, and trust... I've found that I'm actually losing the ability to do so. Which I think is nice, actually.

There's a difference between acknowledging the red pill and actually living it out. Some guys have a moral stance preventing them from putting the red pill to work, and are instead frustrated about it even being needed.
It's what I mention here often. It's one thing to read the theory, it's another to put it to the test. If a person is fearful of getting started due to fear of failure and rejection, he'll end up just digesting more and more of the therapy and regressing rather than growing.
[–]Opening_Pattern_301 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
ironic because?
[–]propyl21 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Ironic because if a person lacks logic, reasoning, and critical thinking, they won't realise that they are part of a brainwashing and propaganda.
The poster is very deep in his emotions and lacks the ability to use logic. If the teachings of the red pill are the truth, it would allow each person who practices it to become happy and content, whilst reaping the fruits of their labour. Yet everyone here is stuck and miserable. Why is that?...
Also, if you think of religion, which amounts to being what is essentially a cult, have you ever noticed how when an outsider asks a religious person any sort of question, the religious person has an answer ready and primed for every question? - Life doesn't work that way whatsoever. No one has the answers to every question. It's ok to admit that we don't know everything. That would be impossible.
Now think of how those who preach the red pill choose to act, or rather, those who don't realise how they act. They too have the answers to every question asked of them. That's quite telling in what the red pill is...

How was your post any helpful? Long story short you said it is propaganda and brainwashing, and made no attempt to give specific examples why it is and what idea is bad.
[–]propyl21 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
The red pill is a concept that has been popularized in various internet communities, particularly among certain groups on the political right. It is often used to refer to the idea of waking up from a false reality or seeing things as they really are, especially with regards to political or ideological beliefs.
However, in some cases, the red pill is used as a symbol for accepting certain controversial or unpopular opinions, especially regarding gender relations and social justice. These opinions are often characterized as being "anti-feminist" or "anti-political correctness."
Critics of the red pill concept argue that it promotes harmful and misleading views, particularly with regards to issues such as gender, race, and social justice. They also argue that the red pill represents a rejection of facts and evidence in favor of conspiracy theories and misinformation.
Therefore, the red pill can be considered propaganda because it is often used to spread a specific ideology or worldview, and is often associated with spreading false information or conspiracy theories. It is important to critically evaluate the information and ideas presented under the guise of the red pill and to seek out credible and well-researched information.
Better?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Just because the belief is incompatible with your belief, doesn’t mean it is bad. If you want to argue that it is not inclusive, yes it is not because what the political left and feminism is quite the opposite and they themselves are not inclusive either.
Open a new post if you want to argue a specific idea and why it is bad.
You just conclude what you have been taught is right and there is no other truth.
[–]propyl21 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I'm ex red pill. I use certain teachings of the original red pill which allowed me to better myself that led to a higher level of understanding self respect.
I'm centrist in my political stance because I've found it utterly stupid to take sides especially when it won't benefit me in the long run.
When you see people push someone's agenda, it makes you wonder if they ever took a step back to recognise just what the hell they were thinking. Take Tate's followers who are doing the legwork for him in pushing his agenda. Would you push his agenda for him?
Similarly, do you know who made up all the terms like cock carousel, the wall, monkey branching etc? If you use those words and other tropes, think about how you are regurgitating someone else's words.

All that is correct, but it's not just propaganda. The tactics/strategies RP instructs and promotes are textbook emotional abuse, i.e the following:
Yes. And all those tropes will create a woman who will be damaged and gaslit. Her world view will skew where the tropes become the norm.
Essentially, the guys here who want to practice these tropes are creating the very women that they despise who supposedly have a high n count or are single mothers.
And that's because these men are scorned.

Why would they be in for a rude awakening?
Are the average men neurotypical?
What’s wifh this assumption that average neurotypical men have potato sacks on their heads until they reach 21 then it gets ripped off and they’re pushed into oblivion to figure it out.
It’s comical.
That narrative of complete confusion only makes sense if the man is neurodivergent and didn’t pick up in basic social ques one naturally learns via living life up until that point.

If they're specifically under the belief that most women just want average men then yeah, they might be getting a little surprised.
Why? I think the person who has convinced himself average men are just destitute with zero dating prospects is the one in for a rude awakening when he realizes he isn’t actually average. Average men date just fine, dated them all my life, they don’t have issues outside of normal dating drama we all deal with.
Nobody's shooting for average, unless they themselves are well below average.
To believe that would mean everyone’s just wandering life single and miserible trying to get the attention of people who don’t want them. There absolutely is a subset of people who do the is but it’s not the norm. Most people accept their dating pool even unattractive people tend to accept it and date equally unattractive people. Again there is indeed a subset who can’t accept their dating pool, but they need to get over themselves, not really anyone’s concern they’ll be alright. They’ll figure it out eventually or stay single.
Normal people don't believe most people are shooting for average. So it's terrible advice.
It’s only terrible advice for people who themselves are fucked in the head. Average dating average hasn’t failed me once

Except we know that women's idea of average is well above average.
Motivations and results are very different things. In the end does it tend to kind of balance out? Yes, somewhat. Does that mean if you're average you'll have an easy time getting your match, hell no.

We know it’s an echo chamber talking point. I know people of all walks of life and looks date, fuck, marry and procreate every day, I don’t know what impression you have of society, it sounds like one of apocalyptic desolation where women are in harems and men wandering aimlessly desperate for a crumb of attention from women.
And? Genuinely, and? Why is adapting such a horrific thing? You state ‘hey this is the way of the world… ok…’ so people adapt to reach their end goal. Seems finding a life partner should logically be a challenge, I’d hope people don’t take it lightly or just expect it to be handed to them.

No. More than likely they’ll find someone to ‘settle’ down with. Live a fairly normal. TRP, and the wider The Manosphere, are still very much the minority.
I would agree, i don’t think RP will work unless you put in the work to be an exceptional man. It is one thing to accept it but another thing to put in the work, that is my biggest concern with TRP. If you don’t you are going to look delusional and more disgruntled with society.
My biggest disagreement with the TRP, telling guys to cheat or should be able to. I know multimillionaire dudes who don’t do that, because they value their kids and family. It is a risk you are taking, Losing your assets and peace.

[–]SiegfriedSigurd 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The issue is that once you swallow the Red Pill, there's no going back. Part of the problem is that so many guys end up learning RP because they were in the depths of hell through oneitis/divorce. Extremely blue-pilled.
They didn't go through the entire process as suggested by the RP. They use it to try and fulfill their Blue Pill fantasies using RP strategy (finding their "one"). Once they find a target all the stuff they learned slowly fades away, they make the woman the center of their life, and guess what, they end up back where they started and go back to consuming RP rage content online.
Some of the ideas that the RP introduces (hypergamy, AF/BB) are so obvious in daily life that once you see it, you can't unsee it. Even the constant brainwashing in daily life can't stop that. I feel bad for the ex-RP guys because that will remain a constant source of tension for them.

Amen, brother. You can't unlearn these truths, I actually apply RP in my professional life too. This stuff transcends dating. Every average man needs to learn RP.

I was reading their detox post about hypergamy. They said essential cuz women settle for betas when they are older. Therefore hypergamy doesn't exist... Just laughable.
[–]propyl21 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link
It's a place where one can have a decent discussion mainly due to people having a healthy dose of logic and reasoning about them while having dignity, humility, and a controlled ego that isn't fragile.
I recommend every guy in here to read the detox post on that sub - not because you need it, but to hear what the other side has to say in order to make a sound judgment call.

Except they ban people who don't tow the party line in its entirety.
[–]propyl21 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I got banned permanently in the red pill forum on my first go for apparently 'moralising' - it's pots and kettles everywhere. That's Reddit for you.
[–]GemXi 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link
I thought it would be more nuanced and balanced since you imply logic and reasoning but starting off with "hypergamy doesn't exist" is not a great way to communicate reality to men.
In order to show hypergamy exists you don't even need to cite the mountains of data on income and reproductive success in men. All you have to do is look at our bodies, our psychology and how it differs. We are dimorphic. Dimorphism happens through sexual selection. This means certain traits in one sex must proliferate more than others with the larger sex (usually male) facing more selective pressure. If women weren't hypergamous through sexual selection we would have little to no dimorphism yet here we are.
[–]propyl21 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You know what I would love to see? I would love for every single guy in here who remains misogynistic and has this negative Nihilistic world view at such a young age to just try getting into a relationship with someone who is their equal instead of compartmentalizing women into arbitrary numbers like '10/10' - the aim is to gain experience, not knowledge.
But you see, that cannot happen so long as the guys here peddle a belief system that is so detrimental to them. Beggars can't be choosers. Instead of seeking a '10/10' to sleep with, these guys need to start on step one. They need to put aside their negative limiting beliefs that includes all the terminologies.
[–]GemXi 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I just don't agree with the notion of downright lying to men about basic biological and evolutionary realities.
Imagine every time a woman shared her struggles about mental health, dating, body image, self esteem, sexual harassment and the default response was "Those are all in your head, it doesn't exist, it's your own fault, stop complaining and grow up"
And then we're surprised they create their own communities and become resentful misogynistic incels.
Maybe you think all their struggles and complaints are just trivial, non-issues coming from lazy entitled people. If that's the case we'll have to just agree to disagree.
[–]propyl21 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No not at all. They have genuine struggles. Many have neurodivergent issues that have remained undiagnosed. Many struggle with major anxiety. I truly feel for them.
Where I will forever make my voice heard is to mention this: it was hard enough for these young men to begin with but to have fallen down a rabbit hole that is of no benefit to these men, where they are indoctrinated to believe in a toxic ideology is what makes me keep coming back here to mention that their beliefs are part of a brainwashing.
As the saying goes, you cannot reason someone out of a position that they never reasoned themselves into.
[–]GemXi 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There's a lot of toxicity and unjustified resentment, that's completely fair. But I don't think telling someone hypergamy doesn't exist is a good way to build bridges and deradicalize as it's effectively telling them their struggles are imaginary and it's their own fault. I guess you don't believe it exists as you linked it which means we fundamentally differ on the mere basics. Thank you for this discussion.

Former RP speaking.
TRP's primary (and really only) benefit is to help get guys casual sex. It's textbook seduction techniques with a coat of evopsych and Matrix iconography.
But applying that mindset will absolutely ruin long term relationships, which is what a lot of guys want.
TRP has to have a mindset of male dominance and female submission, and you can slice "dominance" however you want like looks or income or status or whatever.
But the moment TRP guy gets into a relationship the situation becomes a power play. You can't resolve agreements the normal way - you have to win. You can't support your partner the normal way - you have to give a little and make sure you get more back. You can't trust your partner the normal way - she's going to branch swing to someone better. You can't form deep bonds with your partner - you have to be aloof and indifferent, and be ready to cut them out at any time.
RP ideology and world view, when applied to relationships, will either tank them or poison them. It can and does do damage.
[–]waffleznstuff30No Pill 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes yes it is.
Emotional/Narcissistic abuse at the hands of red pilled men. It's men that believe their sole virtue in a relationship is the fact they are male. And any woman should be blessed by their presence and if they break up it's obviously because SHE wasn't good enough not his horrible actions that caused that. Controlling a woman.
No matter what you do for a red pilled man it will NEVER be good enough. Because some superficial thing "body count" "looks" "being submissive". Even if you are the best partner you can be. There will always be negging and criticism about everything you do. But dare make a comment or concern or critique to them gaslight deny and reverse... It's out of line why would say that. When they can't neg, and critique you into submission they discard.
You are essentially dating someone who will keep you at arms length away like a trophy or a toy they can show off then neglect and put on a shelf. Makes them and their needs the sole focus of the relationship because catering or respecting your womans needs is "simp" behavior not showing appreciation. Gaslighting and manipulating the person claiming how emotional women are. It's not a good look it is harmful to both the abuser and the abused.
The abuser will eventually end up alone and instead of resolving and working through their issues with women will keep placing the blame on them. The abused will feel like they are not good enough and have trauma from that relationship and issues to resolve.
It's not a healthy or good dating strategy.
[–]propyl21 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Ohhhh yes. It harms the abuser and the abused. For the abuser, he becomes so entwined in the dark triad of psychology, that he loses himself to it. No human is capable of controlling the dark arts. Look through history for yourself to see this if you choose to care. No empathy, sociopathy, and psychopathy become the norm. It destroys him.
The abused begins to trauma bond with the abuser. Her world view begins to take hold where she goes from one wrong person to the next. There are many posts in the forum showing the mental abuse suffered by those who were practiced on.
The kind of person who chooses to use the red pill is scorned and has suffered trauma to begin with, and instead of addressing his issues, has instead found a target in women and wishes to hurt the very beings of his desires. Look around you in this forum to see that in full effect.

Or lazy men.
Being trp is hard fucking work. Lifting 3 days a week, running, approaching hundreds of women, hitting the books studying and building your career. I get why so few men actually embraced trp, but the idiots that half ass it they have the gall to say it sucks cuz it doesn't work?
Jokes.
They probably got banned first then went to exredpill. In trp if you don't lift u have to stfu
Nobody needs RP to become a functional productive member of society. All of the things you cited are literally just generic life tips, self-improvement has been a thing since at least Roman times and there are millions of videos, books and research articles from experts that teach all of those things without promoting a toxic ideology that teaches you to disdain and mistreat an entire gender. Literally the only difference between RP and generic life advice and self improvement is that RP instructs and advocates using emotional abuse tactics against women to get sex. That's the ONLY difference.

Oh btw just out of curiosity I checked it out again. Literally one of the first things I saw was someone claiming that scarcity is not real and is just fabricated on a hypergamy post. They literally cant even stay factual on a sub that claims to want to disprove redpill scientifically.
Scarcity is not even some evo psych truth that is hard to prove. You literally just have to look up population statistics. There are consistently about 104-107 men for every 100 women for atleast the 0-40 agegroup in most first world countries. So unless you are going the passportbro route, which is harder to do for younger men, there literally might not be an available woman for you.
Now of course men generally date younger, so you can always borrow from the group a few years younger than you, further increasing their male to female discrepancy. But they can just borrow from the people a few more years younger than them, so all is fine. After all populations are always growing so we can just keep borrowing. Except not, we are below replacement rate, populations are starting to drop, so there literally arent even younger women to borrow anymore. There literally arent enough women alive in first world countries, in the younger age groups, for every man to possibly get a partner, even if all men were equally good.
Obviously every woman isn't actually partnered up. And so if you improve yourself there are women for you still. But the point stands that some men will be forced to be single, or share a woman. No way around it.

Quite a few years ago, Stardusk did a video on how the blue pill can be better for many men just because it doesn't completely mentally and psychologically demoralize the man. That's effectively how I see their subreddit.
