How would you live if yes?

I would use all the time and effort that I spent on my job. studies and career into attracting, vetting and keeping the partner I want.

If I need to do anything else to stay alive (like working) that is just a tool to be used to get to my goals and never a priority.

I would exploit the advantages that come with youth in service to my goals.

I am more comfortable in the female role anyways. So fuck it, I would bet all on the chance to be a SAHM/W.

Women don't try to be good partners, the woman that actually treats being a good partner as people treat their careers has such an advantage over others that she might as well have no competition.

If that fails I can rope knowing that I gave it a shot.

To answer this you must consider both the biological and social.

I am a man

Biologically, the answer is a no. Men are undeniably advantaged from a biological perspective. Taller, stronger, more muscular, higher testosterone levels give a huge amount of benefits, higher sex drive, longer fertility window, advantaged during reproduction as men only have to orgasm and thats them done from a reproductive perspective. Then they don't have the disadvantages of periods, PMS, menopause, pain and many changes from child birth. There are way more but anyone reading this I am sure gets the point.

Socially, the answer is a yes. Men do have a few privaliges in society but these are nowhere near the level of privalige women get. Women are so privaliged I'm 2020 I like many other men are legitimately jealous of female privalige in 2020.

On the whole I would say no.

Well at one point in my life, I would cry and wish that I was born a female. You see my father died when I was young. My mother and sisters were very anti male and pro feminist.

They would always say things like, all men are dogs, they are violent and disgusting. They would describe men as monsters and oppressors. As such my self hatred grew. The more I got to know how bad men were, the more I felt that being born as a man was a sin.

My mother also didn't give me as much care as my sisters as I was the son. I was the most intelligent one out of the three, getting the highest grades but my mother would hardly ever praise me. She would consolidate my sisters for their bad grades and celebrate their achievements. I was also raped and abused by my cousin. When I told my mother about this, she replied with ' well... Thank God it wasn't your sisters'. I would cry and wish to be born as a girl. So that people would actually care about me. So that my mother would treat me like my sisters. I hated being born as a man, I felt like a monster.

Well eventually I grew up and realized it wasn't my fault at all, whoever I was born. So I never thought about being born as a girl again. I am happy whomever I was born as.

As for my mother. I don't hate her at all, on the contrary I love my mom. She might have treated me a bit different but she did raise me alone. I can understand her though. My grandpa made my uncle do university but didn't allow my mother, even though she wanted to. My father was an alcoholic and would sometimes act violent. And I am sure my mother has gone through a lot in life and men have not made it easy for her. That's why the cycle of hate should end with me. I don't hate any women at all ( maybe except for the criminals etc). I wish we could all show more empathy for each other. Sorry for the long ass story. The topic just reminded me of my childhood.

Yes. And women have it easier in life, not only in the dating and sexual markets, everywhere where there is no need for strength, focus or birthing.

If I could change genders, I could have achieved my dreams of leaving this country and living a relatively stable/asocial life without much trouble. I wouldn't need a high education, status, or money. Just the breasts that run in this front heavy family and some small effort.

I also would never need to waste resources with sex ever again. The worst thing in this life would be boredom as I would have any and everything I (with my personality) crave way too easy.

Sure, dealing with birth, safety, and people would be a challenge, but I would be fine, I suppose, I always were a driven person.

And choose your words more carefully, most here would press the button even if it was to be reborn as male. Some more years of life/youth is always welcomed.

F**k that. I love being a man. Having a harder life comes with some serious benefits. Firstly, adversity makes you much stronger. I can tell you that the adversity I have faced as a man has made me stronger than virtually every women I know. This strength has given me traits and abilities I could never dream of otherwise. Secondly, yes being an average woman is better than being an average man but being a high-status man is better than being almost any woman. And it is far easier for a normal guy to become a high status man than for a normal girl to become a high status woman.

Why yes and why not?

Everything I have to worry about as a man, I'd practically have immunity against. No false rape claims, no fear of being discriminated against in a job interview in favour of a "diversity candidate". I could just live my life completely normally, and the world would be slightly in favour of me.

What would you change?

I would start streaming. It may sound weird, but I think I could have a lot of success if I were a female streamer. Most of the games I play have very few female streamers, and none of them that I know are anywhere close to high-level players. People tend to just be drawn to female streamers, regardless of how good their actual content is, whereas men need exceptional content to be noticed. By making decent content, being good at the games I play, and being a woman, it'd be free money in exchange for doing something I already love.

Aside from that, I'd just go on with life as normal. I'd continue pursuing my degree, except now I might get slightly preferential treatment somewhere down the line for being a woman in a male-dominated industry. BS scholarships and all that; stuff I wouldn't deserve but would be more than happy to accept.

Assuming I'd be attracted to men, I'd find someone who's the bare minimum of what I'm attracted to in terms of looks, whose personality compliments mine. Then I'd probably stay with him for the rest of my life, and try to be a good partner. I'd try very hard to avoid fucking up my pair-bonding ability by sleeping around.

Fuck yeah, if I could restart my life as a woman I'd do it in a heartbeat. Assuming I was at least average or above in looks I'd be golden. I'd live my life as I do now, same education, same degree, same hobbies but I'd be about ten times more appreciated for it. An engineering degree now makes me boring, and playing video and tabletop games makes me a manchild loser. But as a cute girl I'd be unstoppable. God knows how much I could make online just streaming or doing random lore videos. Women drastically underestimate the value and appreciation they have that men have to artificially generate with accomplishments and utility.

The dating and sex benefits aren't that big a deal though. I already have no interest in casual hookups and place a pretty big importance on being able to construct my own life so I'd have no reason to chase hot or rich dudes. Though if my orientation stayed the same and I became a lesbian I imagine the current dating model would reassert itself, but as an RP man dating a woman as a woman would be easy mode.

So yes, definitely. Probably what I'd burn a wish on if I had one.

I disagree that women have it easier. I think both genders have respective pros and cons. I think an average woman has it better than an average man, but an average woman is nearly capped at average while an average man can ascend.

That said I’d rather stay as a man like I am. I recognized shit worked this way and chose to ascend. I’d hate to be born with a biological cap

Absolutely not, nature has already answered this, unless you are in a artificially controlled environment like the 21st century, men thrive better than women.

Firstly the biological advantages which are obvious, then the psychological advantages like being less emotional, lack of fear which comes from being biologically stronger. Then there is societal expectations, which are broader for men, you don't have to choose the normie way of life, you can be as eccentric as you can.

Maybe men who feel unloved, attention seeking men and narcissists might find it better to live as women. The female form to me has high aesthetic value but not high functional value. You can always enjoy aesthetic beauty from afar, you don't need to be a host for it.

I am also 6'4" and have a 130+IQ, both of which would make me really unhappy if I was a women.

I like being a man, i have friends that are trans and nb/gnc and the way they describe the good feelings they have when they finally come out and start transitioning (gender euphoria instead of gender dysmorphia) is how I feel pretty much all the time, I feel comfortable in my own skin/gender, it just feels right.

Although I do acknowledge that in many ways western women are coddled by society, have much more safety nets available, are valued merely for existing (as opposed to what they can do for someone), etc the list goes on and on.... Although they have it easier in many ways, the payoff at the end is better for being a man, as long as you're able to be "high value" (enough). I'm not bragging or saying I'm high value, but I'm saying that I have managed to be very successful in everything I do, which includes my career and my personal life. If you are successful and desirable as a man, then you can live an amazing life and be very happy, I would say happier than you can be as a woman. Best case scenario as a woman (even attractive and high value) I would still be trying to find a man (like the man I already am)..... A high value man is rarer and more desirable than a high value woman because they are rarer, so they have lots of options.

The important question is would I get to be attractive and keep my memories as this female version of myself? Because with the benefit of my male hindsight I'd be the most manipulative and evil bitch imaginable. I would capitalize on my looks by working out and counting calories at a young age. With my looks I'll become a high-class escort. I'd filter clients to a small pool of regulars who I'd be happy to date anyway, but I'd be making good money from them. It's legal in Australia and you can make some great money if you market yourself well. I'll pick a suitable client to be my boyfriend and he'll follow me everywhere and act as my body guard. In the meantime, I'll follow in the footsteps of the wonderful Gwyneth Paltrow and start a snake-oil wellness company. I'd lie to women across the world that they too can look like me if they buy my books and eat some absurd diet. Sell clothes and all that other good shit. Once my looks fade to the point I can no longer escort this business will still be there for me.

While I'm at it I'll take up some MMA. It's fun, great for keeping in shape, and combine that with my gym work and I'll be able to clobber any other woman or beta male. I'll annihilate anyone who gives me shit about my life choices.

Middle-age will suck, but it sucks for men too. I'll have my subservient hubby so I won't need to worry about the wall too much, but even still, with enough effort a woman can remain attractive even into her 50s.

I'd have to work out the finer details along the way, but I'm pretty happy with this plan. I'll take advantage of both men and women to make my fortune. Hell, I'd be doing all this now if I could, alas, the market for straight male escorts isn't exactly lucrative.

If I was a woman, I'd still do what I do everyday, but sometimes I'll dress in a more 'sexy' clothing to garner the attention of attractive boys (like wearing crop tops, or wearing sport bra casually). It's very easy to be attractive as women, so I'd just watch my weight and groom enough and I'm done for life
